You are like the sun,
The start of my day,
My last goodbye.
The warmth,
From dawn to dusk.
The continued shine,
A home for me.
But as the sun sets,
A new you is exposed,
In the reflection of the moon.
You become the galaxy,
The wonder of my days,
And the peace of nightfall.
You're like the sun.
