That night Jungkook had been spending it with his hyungs.
They had bought fried chicken and beers, of course, to accompany the former, after one other long, strenuous day of dancing and singing. They were giving it all for the last concert before having a couple of months of promised vacation.
After 6 years of non-stop work, this might not seem long enough, but that's the job he signed for. He definitely doesn't think it's perfect–it has its flaws, but it's what he loves to do.
He always gives the best of himself, same for his hyungs, and the fans–hell, the world–had seen it. They are the most famous k-pop group, and they are international.
Obviously, fame came with its up- and downsides, that's for sure, and he knows it.
Nonetheless tonight he was the most grateful for one of the perks that fame came along with: having been able to buy his own apartment.
Jungkook drives at a steady pace, although carefully, to his flat. Luckily, he didn't touch any alcohol earlier, and now he's eager to get to his destination as soon as possible. The phone call he received in-between chicken bites left him tremendously worried.

Jungkook's phone buzzes. Jimin is the one to notice.성급한 사람 [hot-head]
"Jungkook-a! Here! Someone is calling you." As Jimin hands the phone to the youngest, he's making the littlest smirk to Jungkook who now sees the caller's ID.
"Thank you, hyung. Excuse me for a moment." He says, heading fast to the outdoor patio while sliding the green button on the touchscreen.
"Hello?"
No sound answers him. Or he's unable to hear a thing because of the noise his hyungs are making. He closes the large glass window-door before speaking again.
"Hello? Shin-a, is that you? Everyth-"
Several sobs interrupt him, raising instant worry in him.
"Shin-a, are you crying? What happened?"
"Sniff. It's my mother. Sniff. She found out about my dècor projects... Sniff And s-she threw... Sniff And I told h-her... Sniff"
"It's okay, Shin-a, you can tell me everything once I get to you. Where are you right now?" Jungkook interrupts her.
"I'm in front of your apartment's buildi-", another sob.
"Okay, I will be there in... Mmm... 10 minutes, 15 at max, okay? You go inside now and wait for me there. Do you remember the passcode?"
"Yes, I do... Thank you, Kookie, I'm sor-"
Another sob stops her as Jungkook shakes the head as to underline how much he means his next words.
"You don't have to apologise. I will be there soon. You go inside now, please."
