Japan's POV

"I can't wait for the party to start!" I mewed.

I was dressing up in my favorite anime schoolgirl outfit, and Ukraine was helping me tie ribbons behind my ears to complete the look.

"Oh my gosh Japan, your ears are so soft!" She giggled and stroked my ears. I started to purr loudly. "Japan, are you purring?"

"Y-yes...I can't help it...sorry." I said, still purring. She laughed and stopped. I whined for more.

"No more pets, silly! We have a party to host!"

I straightened up excitedly. "Let's review the checklist. The others will arrive in five to ten minutes."

Ukraine grabbed a sheet of paper, and started reading items from the list.

"Punch and snacks."

"Check!"

"Music?"

"Check!"

"Cute outfits to impress the guys."

I giggled. "Check!"

"Lights fashionably dimmed?"

I quickly pirouetted around the room, dimming the lights. "Now they are!"

She laughed and scribbled down a check mark. "Scary movie?"

I beamed. I made sure to pick out one that was both suspenseful, and had jump scares, to scare the North American brothers. I mentally broke the fourth wall, and called out to my friend cookie, 'Thanks for the idea cookie-san!' Cookie looked surprised for a second, and then grinned. They gave me a thumbs up, which I returned before diving through the wall break and back into my reality. Ukraine was looking at me confusedly.

"Japan, are you alright?"

"Yep! Check-a-roo for the scary movie!"

She smiled again and looked down at the list. "And last but not least, a bottle."

"Check! I held up one of Russia-kun's vodka bottles."

"Well, we're all set then!" Ukraine said, "The guests should be arriving any min-"

With impeccable timing, there was a knock at the door. I pranced over and opened it.

"Konnichiwa South-kun!"

On the other side of the door was my new friend South Korea. He was wearing a white hoodie with his flag on it, and baggy black pants. Around his neck was a pair of headphones, and I could faintly hear the sounds of K-pop coming from them. When he saw me, the music stopped, and he smiled shyly.

"Hi Japan. You look beautiful in that outfit."

I beamed and twirled, my short skirt billowed out. "Why thank you South-kun!" He blushed lightly and handed me a Korean rose. I squealed and hugged him. "Thank you!" I grabbed his hand and pulled him inside.

Germany and Poland arrived next, precisely on time, probably due to Germany's punctual tendencies. Canada arrived shortly after. As it turned out, South Korea was his roommate, and the Canadian hadn't arrived with him because he had to make sure Rusame- I mean, Russia and America, were awake. Said countries arrived last, America always preferring to be 'fashionably late'.

After some socializing and snacking, I went to the center of the room, and clapped for attention.

"All right guys, who wants to watch a horror movie?"
