(5) Ari Leaves For A Week

Monday

"How about you come back to bed Ari?" Bucky said

"No not right now James. I have a patient to check on. And then I have a flight to catch." Arianna said

"A flight? When were you going to tell me you were leaving?" Bucky said

"I told you two weeks ago! Its a medical conference in Dallas. And if you need a release I can quickly give you a blow job." Arianna said

"Don't bother. Im going to work have fun at the conference." Bucky said as he grabbed his mug and went upstairs to change in to his scrubs.

Ashtyn had heard the whole fight as she laid in her bed. "Bye Ari.." Bucky yelled as he slammed the front door.

Ashtyn made her way down stairs into the kitchen.

"Sorry if we woke you Ash. He is cranky in the mornings. Anyways here is some breakfast." Ari said

"Thanks." Ashtyn said

After a few minutes of awkward silence. Ashtyn wiped her mouth.

"Ari..um can I ask a question?" Ashtyn said

"Sure.." Ari said as she was reading a email.

"Why don't you and James have any kids? You two have been together a long time right?" Ashtyn said

"Um.." Ari said then added "My marriage is none of your business. I have to go..next time just mind your business."

Arianna left with her bags and slammed the door. When Ashtyn got to the hospital the chief resident assigned her to charting.

She took a stack of charts with her to watch Bucky's surgery. He looked up to see her in the gallery as he stretched his neck muscles. When he was done he came into the gallery.

"Surgery is done. Why are you still sitting here?" He said

"Oh..I was zoned out." She said as she picked up her charts.

"Sorry about this morning. I forgot it was my morning to drive you. Did Ari bring you?" He said

"Uh no. She practically bit my head off when I asked a question." She said

"What did you ask?" He said

"Why you two dont have kids?" She said

He smirked. "Im surprised you asked her. Normally people ask me..what did she say?" He said

"I asked her cause she is the one with the ovaries. And she told me to mind my business." She said

Bucky said "Yeah I would highly suggest that.."

"Okay then. Im gonna find more charts since everyone is in such a bad mood." She said as she went to walk off.

"Hey..sorry. how did you get here?" He said

"Uber." She said

"I will pay you back. And why are you on charting?" He said

"Because I was late and missed rounds." She said as she looked at him.

"Well I will let you scrub in on my anuerysm surgery if you have lunch with me?" He said

"Crappy hospital food?" She said

"No..we will go down the street to the sandwich shop." He said

She smiled at him. "Sounds good." She said as they walked off to the nurse's station.
