𝐒𝐔𝐍𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓 had just barely shone through the cracks of the tarpaulin-covered windows, as Noah trained. He'd been working to become a personal trainer a few years ago and never seemed to let go of his habits. Zara liked to join him, she held the punching bag still and gawked at Noah's sweaty concentration while taking swings at it.

"I swear to God I will murder you, if you slept with my sister!" West charged at Noah, he shoved him with all his might, raising shouts from Zara. "Is she at your house?"

"What are you talking about?" Noah stopped West from getting any closer, he looked like he was going to kill him.

"You slept with Monet?" Zara questioned. They ignored her.

"Did you sleep with her? Answer me!"

"Bro, calm the fuck down. Where is this coming from?"

"Monet wasn't home last night nor was she there this morning. The last I saw of her was with you, it was you two alone. If you fucking slept with her, I swear, Noah, oh my days —"

"Can you calm down? I didn't fuck your sister, she could've easily just stayed with the girls overnight," Noah replied calmly.

"She didn't," Zara answered, they finally acknowledged her. "I didn't even see her around yesterday,"

"Noah, I swear I will kill you where you stand," West heaved in mutters.

"I didn't sleep with her. I braided her and when the rain stopped, I went home and slept the day away. She might've just gone scouting early, where's Murphy or one of the guys?" Noah crossed his arms.

"Murphy's not even awake yet. She's not here, Noah, I've checked everywhere. This is exactly why I said she can't leave," West began to hyperventilate, he didn't know what to do and due to almost losing his sister once already, he feared the possibility of that again.

Noah slapped him. "Calm down, stop raising your blood pressure for no reason. Let us get changed and we'll help you look for her." he reassured. West took a deep breath and nodded.

Noah was sure that West was overreacting. It was understandable since it was sister; Noah had even tensed up a little himself, but he knew there was no point screaming their heads off.

Surely Monet just wanted a little freedom outside the walls and would be back soon. So, when Tobi had confirmed that she'd left the night before, Noah told West to get a grip.

"I'm going to look for her," West crossed his arms.

"West..." Noah sighed, lifting his trench coat collar.

"She's my sister, Noah, I'm going to look for her." His declarations were cut short, when Noah's radio erupted with static.

"MK to NR, we've got a situation, I repeat, we have got a situation,"

   "MK, I'm listening," Noah answered.

"Reports of the horde just on the edge of Haringey moving in our direction. The lookouts closest started falling back, the horde is moving quick. Over."

"Where is it at now? Over."

"Just outside Stratford. Over." Noah's face stiffened, he stared at West, who concerningly seemed to have no reaction at all at the sound of it.

"Aight, Mack, keep my updated, over."

"Roger."

"Mate, I promise I'll help you look for Monet, but there's a horde coming and that's our priority right now." Although he sounded cold, Noah was equally as worried, his unusual urges to protect Monet were heightening the longer he knew her and his paranoia was slowly seeping in.
