Medieval period, a time of great famine and calamities. People young and old were dying from starvation or fatal diseases. Save for the high class people who lived in luxury while the lower class perished.
But no one cared.
Not even the king.
Business and trade were flourishing so the King forced the lower class to work beyond their limits with no mercy.
But the lower class still worked hard for they had to support their families and the king couldn't hesistate to have their heads if they complained.
It had become normal, a routine for them.

The streets of the lower class society was quiet as everyone went about doing their job.
That was until a high pitched cry tore through the roof of one of the house.
"Give me back my son!!" pleaded a woman in her early thirties, clothed in rags.
She tried to get her son back from the knight that towered over her.
"No!" The knight hit her and she fell down, screaming in pain.
"Amy!!!" Her husband rushed to her side and checked her while glaring at the knight.
"How dare you!?! Let my son go now!!" He yelled, standing up protectively before his wife.
"I'm sorry, I can't. The King has ordered me to bring every boy below the age of one to him." The knight replied steadily.
"What does that brat want now!? He already ruined our lives and now he wants to ruin it for our children!!" The man yelled.
The knight stood his ground.
"I'll take my leave, my job here is done." He left without another word.
"Hey! Get back here with my son!!" The man lunged at the knight. But some other knights stopped him.
"Let me go!!" He yelled.
But they didn't budge.
The man watched with teary eyes as the knight left his field of vision with his son.
The other knights let him go and followed their commander.
The man fell on all fours and his wife rushed to his side.
"I'm sorry. I couldn't save him." He said inbetween sobs.
"It's alright. You tried your best." She said, breaking down in his arms.
The man hugged her, crying with her.
-Six pair of eyes had witnessed the scenes unfold right before them.
"Brother, I'm scared."
"Don't worry, I'll be here to protect you."
Present
Boom!!
A boy about sixteen rushed out of the bakery, carrying alot of pastry.
"Get him!! He looted my bakery!!" yelled the owner, wiping mud off his face.
The boy continued to run, leaped over a wall, jumped up a roof and parkoured away.
The boy turned back and smirked. He couldn't see anyone following him, no civilian was able to stop him for he was too fast.
He turned back around only to come to a screeching stop.
"Return the loot and I'll let you go alive." The man blocking his path sneered, immediately getting to the point.
"You think I'll give in that easily!?" The other replied haughtily.
"Why do you keep pranking people and looting their stuff?" The other continued, ignoring the other's question.
"I don't have to answer to the likes of you!!" He sneered.
"I was hoping to go easy on you because you're young and untrained."
"Just because I'm young doesn't mean I'm untrained!"
The man huffed.
"Why do you indulge in crimes? You are too young that I can't even arrest you. Get a life."
"It's my life why do you bother about it!? Just because you're in a good state doesn't mean you can poke your nose into my business!!" The looter snapped, dropping the loot and taking out his circular blades.
The other was taken aback and took out his swords, taking on a fighting stance.
"You guys from high class get everything you want on a silver platter while we, the low classed people struggle." He continued, his voice stressed.
He lowered his blades, eyes flickering in reminiscence.
The other followed suit, giving him a chance to speak. Something about him got his attention.
"I do not have a choice. I can't let my brothers suffer because of my mistakes.."
