It was a peaceful day and the sun shone brightly on the old and fragile wooden walls of the houses in Rintis society, the society of the lower class.
Voices bounced off these walls as men called out to sell their products, a minor business to earn for a living.
Children clad in sack clothes could be seen running about the narrow dusty streets, laughing in content. They were too young to understand the current predicament.
"Blaze, Blaze! What are we gonna play today!?" asked a five year old, excitedly.
"Let me think Thorn!" replied the seven year old Blaze, mildly irritated .
"How about hide and seek!?" exclaimed the six year old Cyclone.
"That's a good idea!!" yelled Blaze, making Cy smile.
"Yeah!! So who's the seeker!?" asked Thorn.
"I volunteer. Get ready to hide shrewdly cause your seeker is a master at this!" smirked Blaze.
"Yeah!!" cheered Thorn, already making a run for it.
"Wait up Thorn!" yelled Cy, running after him.
Blaze giggled and started to count.
"Be careful kids!" yelled their mother from the kitchen, preparing lunch with what they had.
"Yes mom!" The trio yelled back.
"Don't go too far!" yelled their eldest brother.
"Okay!"

"And ten! Here I come!!" yelled Blaze, running in the direction he last saw them heading.
He looked up, down and in every nook and corner very carefully.
"Where could they be?" He wondered, walking further away from their house.
Suddenly he saw an old cart shaking in the corner of his eyes.
"Thorn stop moving or Blaze is going to find us!" Cy whisper yelled.
"But he won't! We are far away from him. Besides he won't think to look here!" Thorn said cheerfully.
Blaze shook his head amused.
"Kids~" he chuckled, heading towards their direction.
Cyclone sighed.
"Was it a good idea to hide together?" He wondered.
"Of course! Brother Blaze will never expect that!" yelled Thorn.
Cy panicked and shushed him.
"Keep it down Thorn! Blaze could be nearby and hear us!"
"There is no way he could find us here!" Thorn said, waiting for Cy to respond.
But when he didn't, Thorn looked at Cy to find him staring up. He followed his gaze to come eye to eye with
"Blaze!?"
"You were saying?" asked Blaze, smiling cheekily.
"Oh no! Cyclone run!" yelled Thorn, already running away.
"Thorn!!" Cy soon followed.
"Hey that's not fair! I already found you guys!!" yelled Blaze.
"Try catching us!" yelled Cy, picking up his pace.
"Yeah!!" cheered Thorn.
"Is that a challenge? You are gonna regret it!" smirked Blaze, chasing the duo as they ran faster, laughing happily.
