Chapter 5

Blaze huffed and dropped flat on the floor as soon as they reached home.

"Blaze, are you alright? What took you so long? We were getting worried about you." said Yaya, coming out the house to greet them.

"I'm fine. I can't believe I almost got caught and these idiots just had to show up!" He sat up glaring at Cy and Thorn.

Cy hid behind Yaya in fear while Thorn stood his ground.

"You can't blame them for worrying about you." said Yaya with the duo nodding in agreement.

"We were scared that something bad happened to big brother." said Thorn.

Blaze glared at them one last time before looking down.

"But I wouldn't have been able to get away from that knight if it wasn't for you.. Thank you." He said, looking up at them with a sincere smile.

The duo smiled back.

"What are brothers for!!"

Blaze grinned.

"So what are you waiting for!? Scram! Do whatever you want but be safe!"

"Yeah!!" The duo happily ran away to play with the other kids in the society.

Blaze sighed as soon as they left.

"You do realize that you can't always keep them away from danger, they are prone to follow you." said Yaya, watching the duo disappear from their eyesight.

"I do.. and I'm worried about it."

Yaya looked at Blaze who had a disturbed expression.

"Are you sure you're alright? You seem stressed." said Yaya, pulling him up to his feet.

"Yeah, it's just.. too many thoughts are racing in my head."

"Wanna talk about it?"

"Nah, it's nothing. I'm good."

"If you say so~ but if you want anyone to talk to, I'm always here."

"Thanks~"

Yaya smiled and went back in to continue her tasks.

Blaze sighed once more, looking up at the sky.

'I never expected anyone to recognise me, especially some personal knight of the king. I better heighten my game to keep my identity, my brothers and everyone safe.'

Blaze took the bag that Cy had dropped and pulled on his cloak.

"Time to distribute these to the ones who need it the most."

Thunder was at his balcony, overseeing the small towns below. The wind blew his hair onto his face but he didn't care for his mind was elsewhere.

"All this time we believed the lies.." he mumbled, staring at a specific direction.

"But now that I know the truth, I have to do something.."

Quake sat on Ice's bed, legs crossed and his elbow resting on his lap with his palm open, supporting his head. He was deep in thought.

Ice who sat at his desk sighed.

"Quake you've been like that for a while. You were the one who wanted to talk something and now you're just quiet! I could have atleast slept.." he grumbled.

Quake snapped out and looked at him.

"Ice did you say something?" He asked.

Ice groaned and slammed his head on the desk.
