Soon the army was down, injured but alive, no life was lost. The residents of Rintis were the only ones left standing.

They surrounded the duo that were in an intense show down.

Thunder and Solar kept going, not breaking a sweat.

Their swords clashed, one trying to overpower the other.

But it looks like they were equally matched.

The duo grunted and jumped back, their shoes screeching to a stop.

They glared at each other, getting ready for another round.

Solar doffed his cape and Thunder threw away his tattered vest.

With a battle cry they lunged at each other.

Despite his short stature, Solar aimed for an overhead strike.

Thunder ducked and swerved to the side, easily evading the attack.

Then immediately, he aimed for a diagonal cut on Solar's left leg, succeeding in his attempt.

Solar groaned and dropped on one knee in pain.

Solar might be skilled but he didnt have as much experience as Thunder.

"Still wanna keep going?" Thunder smirked.

"I'll never give in to the likes of you!!!" Solar yelled, immediately aiming for Thunder's torso.

Thunder just jumped back with a bored expression.

"You really don't know when to give up." He taunted.

Solar became furious and attacked mercilessly.

But he never got a single hit in, his attacks were too predictable and Thunder easily avoided them.

It went on but at some point he had to stop, he is human afterall.

Solar leaped up, again aiming for an overhead attack. But before he could reach Thunder, exhaustion kicked in and he collapsed on the ground, lying on his belly.

Thunder huffed and made his way towards him, swords in hand. His brothers were soon behind him and the crowd was closing in on them.

Solar weakly raised his head to see Thunder towering over him. Then he glanced around at the crowd, noticing all his men have fallen.

He could love to go for another round but his body screamed otherwise.

He looked back down, sighing in defeat.

"What are you waiting for? Just finish me off now." He whispered, abnormal to his narcissistic nature.

Tears trickled down his cheeks as every single fibre in his body ached.

Never in a millions years could he have imagined his death to be like this and at this young age.

He couldn't believe how he let his anger get to him depite being a very logically person.

Betrayed by his own Knights and slayed by the same person.

He wondered whether this was karma avenging for those his father mistreated.

Solar stopped his train of thoughts when he noticed that nothing changed around him.

He looked up to see Thunder bending over him with an outstretched hand.

"Here, get up." Thunder smiled softly.

Shocked was an understatement of what Solar was feeling right now.
