The whole room was quiet. I know it was because we were saying our grace and what not but for one, Jenna hadn't had her eyes closed. She was staring at me and trust me I had my eyes closed yet I felt that questioning stare from miles. I gulped as the grace ended with my sister jumping on Damien asking him to sign one of the albums she had of his.

Dad clapped his hand to bring our attention to him and announced that he recently got promoted to assistant manager at the office he works. I got up immediately and hugged him.

"That's great news dad!" I exclaimed, " Was this the news you weren't telling me when we talked on the phone?"

He nodded and hugged back.

" Can we eat now?" Cece asked whining beside Damien who just smiled at us.

Dad laughed and went to pinch her cheeks before disappearing into the kitchen to get the food.

Then dead silent.

I looked at Jenna and then at Damien. I sighed and sat down beside Cece who was very much oblivious to the atmosphere.

" So Damien would you blame me if I said that was no co incidence when you met Ethan in New York?" Jenna asked leaning on her chair. Oh boy!

Damien just chuckled and put his hands up.

" Whatever you want to think, Jenna." he replied, " It isn't that you are gonna believe me if I said it was all co incident."

Jenna just gave a long "hmmm....." and looked at me.

" You know Ethan's boyfriend is a rich guy too." she said still looking at me. My eyes went wide and I looked at Damien who did not seem affected by it.

" I know he told me when we were coming here. He's rich? That's something I didn't know." Damien replied giving his attention to Cece who sat on his lap showing him her new toy.

" Jenna stop." I said in a low voice. " In the bathroom now."

I got up and went to the bathroom in the hallway, I did not look back cause I knew she would be following me. As she got in I locked the door.

"Why is he here?" she asked, well, more like angry whispered.

" Dad invited him. Apparently they are still friends." I said leaning on the wall. Jenna sighed.

" Are you okay?" she asked.

" Obviously not. You are acting like a bitch to him making it awkward for all of us." I said. Before she could say anything I interrupted her.

" I confessed to him again." I sighed, " Kinda."

Jenna's mouth hung open and looked like a goldfish. She stammered as she caught her fore head.

" You WHAT?" she shouted.

I covered her mouth immediately and gave her a pleading look. As she calmed down I released her. She took a deep breath.

" You WHAT?!" she angry whispered at me again, " Are you insane?"

" I know." I whined, " but everything is okay cause we are putting it in the past. We are friends now."

" Is there something else I should know?" Jenna muttered. Glaring at me she leaned on the door as if she read my mind that I wanted to get out of the bathroom. Not a good idea, Ethan.

" Well... we kinda kissed." I whispered.

Jenna sighed.

" I feel like a mother with a teenager kid." she muttered, " Okay Ethan.... are you over him now?"
