Elora approached a makeshift stage and she rose a brow. Demetrius held her hand as she ascended the small steps.

She looked at her brothers and nodded for them to stand slightly behind the two Alphas. She squeezed her mate's hand as she went to join her brothers. He swiftly turned and she gasped when he planted his lips on her once again.

Elora flushed at the public display before she pulled away gently.

Elio scoffed, "Alpha Bordoa brought strangers into our ranks. He made a selfish decision, it wasn't his to make. I wanted to bring it to the people so they could decide the fate of the operation we are all sacrificing our time and safety for." The crowd murmured over one another.

Elora stood with her hands clasped in front of her, arms squared while sandwiched between her taller brothers. She quickly got distracted as the Hellhound was droning on. She nudged Lucas who quietly made kissing sounds at her and Demetri.

"I thought you were supposed to be the mature brother?" Elora whispered.

Elora shut her mouth when Demetri began speaking.

"Do any of you plan to challenge the Gods?"

The audience quieted immediately.

"That woman," he pointed to the witch. "She is mine. She was given to me at this time for a reason and if fucking anyone even attempts to take her from me there will be hell to play."

Demetri glanced back at her. She smiled gently at him before he glanced at Lucas, then Malakai.

"I claim Malakai and Lucas as my own. All three of them are to be treated with the same respect you show me." Elora's face dropped, surprise seizing her. Her haw fell open and her heart skipped a beat, for him to claim responsibility for her family meant more than he could ever imagine.

Lucas and Malakai slackened in shock, Elora gripped their arms as she tried to get herself back together.

"They're witches! They can't be trusted."

A hound hissed from deep within the crowd.

"And if you opened a book you would know that half of the wars witches were involved in they were forced." Elora took a step forward as she felt her stomach turn with anger.

"The idea is to adapt, genius. My species did what they had to do to survive," Elora continued with a harsh tone and single raised, white brow.

"You all are so quick to judge and claim you want to find out our intentions yet all you do is point fingers. Start asking real fucking questions."

"And you," Elora turned to Elio. His surprised eyes met her, "you argue with my mate continuously yet you ask him to help aid in a plan you have yet to explain. Maybe if you stopped measuring your cock every time you were around him you'd get something done. Besides, his is bigger so it's pointless anyway."

She finished her motherly lecture for the time being and turned to her boys. Malakai's face contorted in disgust and she decided to ignore it.

"C'mon, we won't be at a meeting we're unwanted."

As she pushed them down the steps to leave, Demetrius turned to follow them.

"No them, no Lycan's," He barked. A round of agreement sounded from the other Lycan's in the crowd sounded. Elora bit her lip as her heart fluttered with hope.

"We stand by our Luna," A woman announced. She had blonde hair and was small like Elora. Her voice was gentle but she had managed to make herself loud at that moment. She had pretty skin, no visible blemishes.

Elora's brows rose as a smile tugged at her lips, she made a mental note to try to talk to her.

She gasped as large hands circled her waist and lifted her into a broad chest.

"How would you like a tour?" Demetri mate purred in her ear.

Elora nodded quickly.

"Kai, Lucas are you alright to make it home?" Demetrius asked them. Apparently, while Elora had showered her mate had given them a quick guide of the terrain.

When the boys walked off, Elora was hauled into a large bear hug. She smiled and wrapped her arms tightly around Demetri. He walked quietly as she rest her cheek on his shoulder in exhaustion.

She squinted at the sun. "You do realize we've been awake for two and a half days straight right?"

He paused momentarily. "Has it been two days?" She nodded in response.

He patted her butt as he thought. "Time goes by very fast with you," he nuzzled into her white hair.

His tone was endearing so the witch assumed that was a good thing.

"Would you like to sleep?"

"I want to walk with you for now. Do you have any work you need to do today? I can help and then sleep."

"After each assignment, we give the group a 30 hour recuperation period. Elio can handle everything."

"That guy is something else," Elora scoffed as she studied her mate's face rather than what she was being shown.  Getting lost is fun anyway.

"Well, you did announce to everyone my dick was bigger than his. So he may get worse."

"Well I have no doubt in my mind it's true! Besides he's just so... infuriating! I can't tell if it's him or the fact that you both are so different leading wise."

Her mate looked at her to continue.

"Um, well you don't talk a lot. You don't have to, you're blunt and to the point. Elio has these grand speeches and a display for his people and I think that's one of the main issues here. You both communicate very differently."

"We haven't killed each other yet so I guess we aren't doing everything wrong."

She laughed and finally looked around. "Okay, I take it back. I'll just call for help when I get lost, can I sleep please?"

He smirked and nodded. She saw he had already been on the way back to his home.

"W-Will you be sleeping too?"

"If you want the room to yourself Lycan's can go another day or two without sleep. I-"

"Meechi?" Elora cut him off. "Do you want to sleep? Next to me more importantly."

"Of course."

"Then it looks like we're taking a nap," Elora nodded in finalization.
