Elora quickly shoved her boots on as she practically ran out of the house. She was worried Demetri would storm out and grab her up, refusing to let her out of bed.She giggled quietly and bit the end of her thumb nail to hide a smirk. She walked with a pep to her step towards the dining hall.
She approached the large building and furrowed her brow when she heard a commotion. Elora pushed herself to fasten her pace and shoved the double doors open.
She saw her brothers surrounded by Hounds. No Lycans were around and her eyes narrowed.
"You're ruining the mission! You're just the Lycan Kings little bitches."
Elora saw a boy swing, catching Lucas in the jaw. He grunted but otherwise didn't react.
He raised his hands and rest them behind his head.
Malakai snarled and leaned daringly towards the Hound. Lucas snapped,
"Remember what we talked about."
Malakai stopped and abruptly leaned back before tossing his hands behind his head as well.
The other Hound laughed obnoxiously before winding up again.
She couldn't watch any longer before sprinting and shoving offender from hitting her brother.
"Watch yourself!" She barked.
"What are you going to do about it, bitch?"
Elora rose a brow as he spat. She looked at the five teens behind him. They all had put some distance between themselves and their 'leader'.
He raised a hand to point his finger in the witches face when her eyes began glowing a brighter yellow.
"Hmm, what am I going to do about it?"
Elora's head tilted to the side just barely and his eyes widened as his hand twisted just slightly in the wrong direction. Just enough to make him uncomfortable.
"Should I snap your neck like I will your wrist?"
"Y-you can't! Alpha Elio wouldn't- Ahh!!" He screeched as she crooked her neck and watched his hand twist completely. It hung unnaturally from the joint.
Elora huffed as he dropped to cradle it. She rolled her eyes once he passed out due to the pain.
A girl screamed and charged. The witch sighed while gripping her knife and threw it into her knee. She pursed her lips at the crunch and the girls sudden screams. With a wave of her hand, her knife was wrenched from her wound and Elora caught her by her pale throat as she dropped.
Elora inhaled deeply, always one for theatrics. The witch could smell fear off of her in waves.
"Weak." She spat before shoving her into her friends.
"If I so much as smell you little shits your heads will be detached from your bodies."
Elora watched them scramble away and kicked her pointy toed heel into the passed out boy-mans gut.
She turned to her indifferent brothers and smacked them.
"What the fuck was that?!" She screeched.
"Elle-"
"I spent years teaching you how to defend yourselves! And for what! To let some punks degrade you like that!"
Malakai turned his head in shame and sniffed roughly. Elora glanced at Lucas who kept his gaze down.
"We can't... Demetri claimed us. Everything we do reflects him, we can't risk his reputation for a stupid fight. I won't do that to him, not after everything."
