Chapter One: She Spoke
*Present*
Sienna had been in the Andersen household for over a year and a half now. It wasn't her longest time in a stranger's home, but the only difference was the treatment. This family actually took care of her without any source of abuse.
However, she was still on guard. I guess with the life she's been forced through, it is completely understandable. Her childhood is not one she would wish upon another. It is worse then wishing death upon them.
As normal, Sienna was awoken by yet another nightmare of her past. She walked into her bathroom and gazed at the empty shell in her mirror that would stare blankly back at her.
Those same eyes, that same hair, the same skin and that one awful looking scar. It will always be that same reflection she will come across.
When the time came for Sienna to get ready for her last semester of schooling, it was almost as if she was on auto pilot. Her showers only consisted of her quickly cleansing herself and rapidly washing her lifeless hair. This took up only 7 minutes of her time.
She dressed herself into her signature outfit, which was just an over-sized plain white shirt tucked into a pair of black track pants and of course her undergarments. She didn't give a shit about what people thought of her.
What's the point when she already knew the details herself?
Sienna put on her hipster glasses making her look like a nerd...well more like a beautiful dork, but of course she never saw her own beauty. She tied her hair up into a messy but professional looking bun and let her side fringe fall loosely over the top of her glasses.
Her shoes were just any regular black canvas shoes that you would find in Kmart. In all honestly, Sienna pulled off the 'home alone' look and she didn't even know or try. Heck, she could wear it to a ball with famous people and her clothes would start a trend.
Seeing that she had twenty minutes before leaving the house, Sienna picked up her black leather Nike side bag and placed the strap on her shoulder. With one last disgusted look in the mirror, she made her way downstairs for breakfast.
The sweet aroma of pancakes filled the air as she descended the long curving stair case. Her stomach growled in hunger as she let her sense of smell lead her towards the dining room.
After about two minutes of turning corners and walking through hallways Sienna had finally found the dinning room. The sight of stacked pancakes with whipped cream and a glass of apple and blackcurrent juice on the dining table graced her view.
Placing her bag down at the entrance of the dining room, she made her way to her seat with her eyes not leaving the fluffy goodness. Once seated, she paused looking around for Dice and Karlie. The Andersen parents.
Sometimes Sienna would wonder why a family of three would want a house as big as a mansion. Sure there are a few maids and butlers, but still. They were nice people, they really were, yet she couldn't help but despise them.
To Sienna, it felt as if they were rubbing their wealth into peoples faces. Even if the Andersen's weren't aware, it was honestly pathetic. There were a lot of beautiful new built houses that screamed expensive yet homey. However, they choose a house that would be better off being called a display of riches since its rare for the whole family to be present.
"Good morning Sienna." Karlie greeted with a smile.
In return all Sienna did was give a slight nod and continued eating silently. The whole time she had stayed in the household, Sienna hasn't spoken one word. It was a sign of mistrust and being on guard. All of which Dice and Karlie are used to. It was also a sign of observation.
