good morning upper east siders with the new year now here we are yet to seek the new gossip and are recent juice is the long waited return of our favourite player Carter Baizen. However how is a certain Waldorf gonna react to the news?

Deliah Waldorf was famous for been played by the legendary Carter Baizen but it never mattered how many times he did it she loved him. Deliah's favourite saying was that love was blind and it was no acception for the eldest daughter of the Waldorf family. Even though she was famous for been played by the playboy every boy at school wanted to date the queen of Manhattan but everytime Deliah tried to move on from Carter it would fail by falling back in love with the boy.

It wasn't that long ago Carter Baizen had decided to travel Europe for the third time and like the previous two times it broke Deliah. Manhattan and the world was not blind sided to the fact Carter wasn't an innocent person he did drink, sleep about and do drugs. Deliah was the contrast of that she was as innocent as they came.

It had been four months since Carter left and Deliah had surrounded herself with positivity instead of been sad over the boy. She had recently been helping her mother's business with some designs and hanging out with her best friend Ophelia who had recently came out of her ward after suffering depression. Deliah was finally in a happy place she didn't need Carter although there was nights that all she wanted was to be in his arms.

"Deliah miss smithingson is here" Darota informs the twenty year old.

"Thank you Dorota please tell her to come in" The brunette replied with a smile.

"Hey D did you know that Baizen is back in town?" Ophelia said on her phone as per usual.

"Which Baizen?" Deliah asked the blonde.

"don't play dumb you must know Carter is back in town he spotted at the downtown bar" Ophelia says showing Deliah a photo of Carter sipping his drink.

"I wasn't aware actually maybe he will be attending the party tonight which means I need to get ready I need a dress go go go!!!" the girl says throwing all her clothes out of her wardrobe.

If there was one thing Ophelia loved about her best friend was the loyalty she had she had loved Carter since she was eleven. Since then she never had a boyfriend and she had planned everything. Prom, children names and weddings. Ophelia knew all Deliah wanted was Carter Baizen to love her back.

Carter Baizen was back in town whenever he was everyone knew it did kinda annoy him from time to time. He did read gossip girl but that was only because he wanted to check on one girl. Deliah Waldorf. Carter did love her he was just scared that if they committed Deliah may get bored of him and want someone else. Carter had loved her since they was eleven years old from the moment Deliah explained Pride and Prejudice was a better book then Little Women in a fight against her best friend Ophelia.

Gossip girl had made it clear that Carter was going to attend the Waldorfs party tonight which means he would come across Deliah. The boy really wanted to tell her that he loved her and only her but he never found in him to have deep conversations about how he felt.

However he wasn't going to let her be with anyone else tonight he had to let her know that she belongs to him. Some say he was a control freak he always called it Jealousy and Protectiveness. Deliah Waldorf loved it because he focused on her and he knew that.

The pair was finally ready they was looking good ready for the reunion.

Carter Baizen walked through the elevator doors and instantly sipped champagne he looked around the room to see if he could spot the famous beauty. Instead he came across the other Waldorf.

"If you even think of playing my sister again I swear on the wonders of the earth I will end you Baizen I cannot handle another breakdown of hers blasting Lana Del Ray" Blair says sternly while shooting daggers at him.

"I don't plan on messing around anymore Blair I don't want to hurt her anymore where is she anyway?" the man says hardly looking at the princess of Manhattan.

"She will be with Ophelia near the piano" Blair simply says before going to kiss Nate.

Blair was right about where her sister was she was currently talking to her mother about the guests that had already spoke to her about business deals. Carter had realised Deliah had been getting herself a future for herself it made him happy to see her smile. Ophelia was stood with the brunette eating strawberries hardly talking but she had noticed Baizen. She patted Deliah on the shoulder and the two made eye contact.

Carter had missed the girls brown eyes and brown hair. He missed the nights they spent together the way she could cuddle with him till they fell asleep it was cliche but it made fall more in love with him. Unlike all the other girls Carter had slept with he didn't mind if Deliah stayed over the night.

The brunette made her way towards the man with a soft smile on her face. Deliah was happy Carter was back she missed him although she was happy he also made her happy extremely happy. Carter smiled at her while placing his champagne down to hold her hand. It was clear to anybody that Deliah Grace Waldorf could turn Carter Baizen into a huge softy.

"How was Europe?" Deliah asked intrigued as she got into dance position.

"It was just as fantastic as the first two times, one day I might let you in on the magic" He smirks causing a giggle to form from the girl.

"I would love that" She says smiling at the man causing a small faint blush on his cheeks.

Is Carter Baizen in for the long run this time or is it only a matter of time before he plays Deliah again? only time can tell all we can say is the upper east side is rooting for this couple to finally come official!
