"Your car will be ready this weekend." Dad was telling me as we were sitting at the table for dinner. He just got home from work, looking exhausted. I guess being a rich man is hard work.

I couldn't help but smile at that. I miss my car so much. I was tired of driving the Lambo everywhere, getting stared at or people talking shit about me. I was tired of not blending in.

"That's good." I smile as I cut into my meat. Mom can make the best food ever. She's one of the best cooks that I know. Our grandma was a great cook also. She passed about five years ago.

Grandma and I were pretty close. I could talk to her about anything and everything. She was always there for me no matter what. I would always come to her for advice and it didn't even matter what it was.

She was the only one who knew I was bi. She kept it a secret, promising not to tell anyone. She didn't think nothing less of me or tell me that it was wrong. She supported it and gave me some great advice.

She said, "People aren't always going to agree with what you do, say or act. How you walk, talk or whatever you do. The best thing to do is ignore them and do what you want to do. It's your life and you're allowed to do whatever you want to with it. Be who you want to be and love who you want."

I really need to keep that in mind when I end up telling my parents. I'm sure they'd understand but I'm just terrified because anything could happen. It could take a turn for the worse without warning.

We all were sitting down at the table, besides Chase since he was at a friends house. We all ate with a few conversations here and there. Some about dad's work day. Some about mom's day and how it was.

Then they asked how my day was and I told them it was good. Which it was. Nothing too crazy happened today and Regina ignored me all day today so I was thankful for that.

I managed to tell a decent enough lie to my parents about yesterday when I had to stay after school for that therapy session thing. They didn't ask questions when I told them I was helping students with some Spring things to hang up in the school.

"How's your grades?" Mom asks before taking a bite of her meat.

I nod as I wiped my mouth. "They're excellent like always." Which was the truth. I make sure my grades are always good cause I want to graduate with honors.

My dad smiles before sipping his drink. "That's my girl. Always on top. I'm proud of you."

Hearing my dad say that almost everyday makes me feel good. I try so hard in school, not just to keep my parents happy, to keep myself happy also. I want to achieve great things in order to succeed in the end.

After dinner was over, I helped mom clean the kitchen. I liked helping her clean up cause it gave us a chance to bond, even though we bond a lot. I always like helping out around the house and I don't understand why kids just don't help.

"How's school going?" Mom asks as we were washing dishes together.

I look over at her as I grab a cup and dry it off. "Didn't you already ask me?"

She smiles at me as she washes a plate. "Just want to know how you're doing in school. How's your friends? You know you only bring home Ayden."

I nod as I wanted to avoid this conversation. My parents always ask why I don't bring anymore friends home besides Ayden. They don't know that Ayden is my only friend cause then it'll be a whole lot of questions I'm not ready to answer.

"They're just busy." I placed a plate down on the counter after I dried it off.

We continued to clean before getting done. I went upstairs to my room and laid on the bed. Looking up through my skylight, I sigh as I watch the sun start fading from the blue sky.
