Sadie stopped at the end of the hallway. She turned to the last door, all the other ones have been occupied. She knocked on the door, just to make sure no one was inside.

"Who is it?" A voice shouted. Sadie knew right away that she had just knocked on the door of Zia Rashid.

"Never mind," Sadie called back. She turned to Nico and sighed. "Well, looks like we'll have to make you a room," she said. She led Nico to her room. She paused in front of the wall between her room and Carter's. She spoke one divine word, Khepri, and a door shimmered to existence. "Welcome to your room," she said.

Nico's room was a replica of Sadie's, except for the dark grey walls, black and red bed, and light brown carpet. Nico's mouth fell open, he turned in a full circle, walked around the room, examining every piece of detail.

"This place is amazing," he exclaimed. "How'd you know this is how I wanted my room to be like this? Even the decorators of the Hades Cabin didn't know my taste."

Sadie shrugged, "I guess putting an image of you into creating a room can make it reflect yourself."

Nico walked over to his closet. A picture hung on the wall next to it. Nico raised an eyebrow. "Isn't this Anubis?" he asked, pointing to the picture of the god with a jackal head.

Sadie's face became the color of a strawberry. "Well, since I casted the spell, I guess a part of my image of you was also reflected as well," she mumbled.

It took a moment for Nico to register her words. "So you're saying...Wait! You still think of me as Anubis!" he realized.

Sadie nodded. "Um, sorry about that. I know you're Nico and he's Anubis, but you two are just so similar. Like from the looks to the powers," she explained.

"It's fine," said Nico. "Besides I think it goes with the whole decor of the room. Perhaps someday I'll reconsider Anubis's offer."

"Really?" asked Sadie hopefully.

Nico nodded. "I guess it goes with destiny and all that." Sadie waited for Nico to explain. "Aphrodite gave me an insight of the future. She said that I will either unite the pantheons or start a war between them," Nico said sadly.

Sadie nudged him. "Well, I believe you'll unite us all because you've already made the first big step: befriending the magicians. So there's really no need to worry, Besides you have us now. If you need help, we'll be here for you," Sadie encouraged.

Nico looked into Sadie's eyes. For a moment her heart skipped a beat, she remembered Anubis doing the same thing when they first met, in person. "Thanks," Nico managed. "Only a few people have told me that and really meant it. They would be Percy, Annabeth, Piper, and Hazel."

Sadie nodded. "Who are Piper and Hazel?" she asked. She wasn't sure how she felt about Nico, but she'd like to know that he's not dating anyone.

"Hazel's my sister, from the godly side," he added. "And Piper is another demigod who helped free me from Aphrodite's curse. By the way, my sister is Roman, and Piper is Aphrodite's daughter."

Sadie processed all the information."What was Aphrodite's curse?"she asked.

Nico went to his bed and sat down. Sadie sat down next to him. He sighed. "There was a prophecy that the gods hid from us," he started. "I went on a quest with Piper and...Will. Turns out Aphrodite put a curse on me, her curse was that no one will truly be my...love," he looked at Sadie. "Sounds pretty sappy, huh? Well, anyways, Hades didn't like the curse, so she created someone to be with me, and to hold the prophecy back even more, she made me fall for guys." He spoke the rest really fast, "So for a while I had a crush on Percy, then Will, the guy she created out of dust, became my boyfriend, but after the curse was broken, I only saw guys as family, friends, or enemies. Not someone to date or crush on or anything." He looked up, his face was red.

Sadie put her arm around his shoulder. "Well, I'm glad you're free from your curse. And, just wondering, what about Will?" she asked.

Nico relaxed. "He returned to dust," he shrugged. "So, you're not judging me because I dated a guy made from dust?" he asked.

Sadie laughed, then punched him arm. "Of course not, Death Boy. The only reason why Carter is dating Zia is because he fell in love with a piece of pottery that looks exactly like her."

Nico smiled.

"Ahem, I'm not interrupting anything, am I?" asked Carter, who stood at the doorway, looking very winded.

Sadie rolled her eyes. Sometimes Carter can really interrupt an important moment, like now. She wanted to tell Carter that he is and should leave them alone. However, Nico didn't think like her because he shook his head.Carter took that as an invitation to enter the room. His eyes darted back and forth, between Sadie and Nico. Sadie realized that she still had her arm around Nico. She quickly removed it.

"Okay, guys-" he started.

"NICO DI ANGELO, WHY IN TARTARUS ARE YOU HERE?" a voice boomed. Annabeth charged into the room. She tackled Nico off the bed, which was pretty far, and judo flipped him over her shoulder.

Sadie and Carter quickly ran to Nico's side. Annabeth had Nico pinned to the floor. "I-I g-got s-sidetracked-d," stammered Nico, putting both hands up.

"I sent you to do one thing and you don't even show up for, oh, I don't know, seven hours and fifty-three minutes. I was worried sick. Do you know how many scenarios ran through my head while I tracked you down? Yet you were here, relaxing and taking your time, huh?" growled Annabeth.

"Annabeth, please. It was also my fault," spoke up Sadie. She really didn't want to be judo flipped, but she had to let her know that Nico wasn't being completely careless.

Annabeth looked up. Her stormy eyes softened. She released Nico from the ground. "Hello, Sadie," she said casually, as if nothing had happened. "Care to tell me what happened today?" Sadie blushed slightly. Annabeth, being the daughter of wisdom and all, knew exactly what that meant. Sadly, Annabeth also knew her secret name, so she also knew how Sadie felt about Nico and Anubis. "I'm guessing you don't want me to say it out loud, right?" she asked.

Sadie nodded furiously. Annabeth shrugged.

"Wait, what happened? Where were you today?" asked Carter, suddenly curious. Annabeth and Sadie shared a knowing look. Boys, they thought.

Annabeth turned to a cowering Nico. "I'll forgive you this time, Di Angelo. But be warned, next time, my wrath will be far more superior," Annabeth declared. "Cause you won't have Miss Kane here," she added.

Nico and Sadie both blushed vigorously. "Yes, father," murmured Nico.

Annabeth smiled. "If I was Hades, you wouldn't be able to see the light of day."

"I'm fine with that," replied Nico.

Annabeth rolled her eyes, "You know what I mean."

Wait, seriously, what happened?" asked a clueless Carter.

"I'll tell you, some other day, brother dear," replied Sadie. "Do you want to stay for dinner?" Sadie asked Annabeth.

"Sure. Let me just Iris Message Percy first. And what about you Nico?" she said.

Nico looked up at Annabeth. "Um...well you see. I found out that I was also a magician, so I'll be staying here to train and stuff," he stuttered.

Annabeth's expression changed from surprised to sad. "But, Nico, it's going to be dangerous."

Nico scoffed. "Yeah, like my life."

Annabeth gave him a weak smile. "Alright, but remember, Percy and I will always have a place for you back home, we'll always be your family, godly side or not," she reassured him.

"I know," said Nico.

Annabeth ruffled his hair. "Alrighty, Death Boy, I'll go update Percy on this, and by the way, do you have the translation?" she asked.

Nico handed over his piece of paper. Annabeth examined it for a total of ten seconds before she stuffed it away and muttered, "This isn't good." Then she left.
