After spending the weekend with Seb and looking for a prom dress I finally picked the perfect one. Seb kept going on about wondering why I cared so much about how I looked. I wasn't entirely sure yet I definitely tried to convince him it wasn't for anyone... even though it might've been.
So yeah I've been thinking about Ricky a little more than usual. I mean he was just so nice and he understood me more than anyone else did.
"So I sort of thought that I was going to go with Ricky to Homecoming. It was stupid of me to think he would ask of course." Sapphire looked down at her fingers that fiddled with each other. "He isn't over Nini, but like as friends I guess? I don't know. At least I have Seb." Sapphire smiled lightly to the camera.
"Sapphire Williams you will not believe what just happened?!" Seb yelled across the hallway as we made eye contact with each other.
"Hey take a breath there cowboy." Sapphire told him as he grabbed her hands and jumped with the worlds brightest smile on his face.
"Carlos asked me to homecoming." He told me as my eyes widened.
"No way! Who called that? Oh wait me!" I cheered as I hugged him tightly. "Look at you getting yourself a mans."
"Stop Saf. It's just homecoming. I don't want to jinx it." He said with a hint of nerves.
"Please I know it'll be amazing. I'm so happy for you Seb." I hugged him again. It was true I was happy. He was finally getting what could potentially be his first boyfriend. It just sucked because now I was going to homecoming on my own. Officially a third wheel for my best friend. And officially all alone.
Well shit.
I got ready in my room on my own. A common homecoming theme for me.
I wore a high low flower dress with some light gold and pink eyeshadow with a pink glossy lip and some tan chunky heels. I threw my hair into a half up knot and looked into my mirror. I was happy with my look. I never really wore makeup except in my room or at Seb's when we had sleepovers.
I waited for him for like an hour to show up. We were supposed to meet up and then head there so we could get pictures together. I was sick of waiting though and I texted him telling him to head straight to the homecoming and that I hoped everything was okay. He wasn't usually late so I assumed it was a home thing.
Thankfully Raphael was still home and he gave me a ride. I looked at him as he drove and noticed his hair done. "So who are you impressing?"
"Gina." He answered. "What did she tell you by the way?" My first thought was about how she told me she wasn't planning on getting with him.
