I walked down the hallway around third period anxiously waiting to get into rehearsal once again when I felt an arm wrap around me.

"Little sis. Just who I was looking for." Raf spoke as I looked up to him. It agitated me sometimes that he was so much taller. "So Gina is going to rehearsal early today and I told her that you would love to join in."

"Yeah I would what are we doing?"

"Wait you actually want to?" He asked stopping in his tracks.

"I mean yeah why not? She's a great dancer and I am playing the literally dancing girl so might as well." I shrugged looking to her.

"That's awesome. Well this is you owing me one then because I need you to talk to her about me okay?" He asked as I took a deep breath.

"Well that- I mean what do you want me to say?" I questioned.

"I don't know. Girl talk I guess. Please Saf I like her a lot but she's so hard to read." He almost begged me.

"Fine I'll help you because I'm a great sister." I smiled to him as the bell rang.

"You're the best Saf!" He callers out before running to his class.

Not long after I was on my way to the auditorium to practice. Gina was dancing and really going at it. This girl was popping off. She should've been in an arts school for real she was like a quadruple threat. I could see why Raf was interested in her. She finished the dance and I put down my bag before I walking over to her.

"Hey." I smiled coming over to her. "That was actually amazing. I'm surprised you weren't cast as Martha with those moves." I complimented.

"I mean I would've preferred Gabriella but here we are." She answered with a smile despite the very clear salty underlining.

"Yeah I mean you're a sophomore though so I'm sure you'll get the lead next go around." I tried to calm the air. "I'm Sapphire by the way."

"Yeah I know. Your Rafael's little sister." She smiled lightly.

"Yeah it's a blessing and a curse. Mostly a curse." I nodded lightly. Shit. I shouldn't have said that I was supposed to be helping him.

"He doesn't seem that bad." She replied as I let out a soft laugh.

"Yeah he isn't." I corrected myself clearly not confident with my answers. "Anyway I would love to be a part of this dance thing you have going on."

"I mean I don't see why not. It's kind of hard though are you sure you're up for it?" She asked as I nodded.

"Why not. Challenges can be fun." I spoke before we started practicing. It was fun for sure. The only thing I couldn't do is the split and the pirouettes were hard but easy to pick up.

"You're actually pretty good. Are you a dancer?" Gina asked.

"No I'm not. I danced when I was little but I stopped a few years ago." I told her with a smile.

"Well I'd definitely love to dance with you." She shrugged as I smiled. I didn't expect her to be so... nice. I don't know she seemed so mad at Nini that I figured she was a bitch but she wasn't.

"Same." I nodded before sipping my water.

"So Rafael said you wanted to come. Did you actually or did he send you to get info on me?" She asked as my eyes went wide and I almost choked on my water.

"Well it was a little bit of both." I answered truthfully knowing this girl could probably see right through me.

"Well tell him I think he's cute, but I don't know if I should date him." She spoke looking down.
