Flower Crowns

Today was a rather pleasant spring day outside, the flowers were in bloom and the trees were dancing to the rhythm of the wind.

Under these layers of peace and beauty, there lay a little ball of sunshine. Wait, correction- two little balls of sunshine.

On a little green patch of grass hidden from the peering eyes of others, there lay hinata shoyou with his sister, natsu.

It was a peaceful day and hinata didn't have volleyball practice today, so natsu used this opportunity to just hangout with her brother and rest.

On the other hand, kozume kenma had nothing to do apart from playing games on his phone. He had thought it was a bit nice outside, so he decided to take a walk to which he would later regret.

He was about to turn back when he had heard faint giggling in the distance. He thought it had sounded a little familiar and his curiosity had gotten the better of him. He followed the sound until he had come across some thick bushes.

Pushing his way through the big bushes enveloping the area, he saw a cute sight to see. There laying on the grass was the  ball of sunshine hinata shoyou, with his sister natsu making flower crowns.

He pushed further into the area and it was well hidden from peering eyes. The patch of grass they lay in, with the trees and flowers dancing for them. It looked as if two innocent fae were one and at peace with their surroundings.

The faint sunshine going through the leaves illuminated hinata's hair, and the flower crown he wore along with his beaming smile made him look even more ethereal than he already was.

Kenma didn't know how long he was just standing there admiring them, but apparently natsu had somehow noticed him since she was pointing straight at him . Hinata noticing this had looked to where his sister was pointing and had waved him over to them.

"Kenma!" He happily called out.

Kenma just stood there frozen in place, being surprised at his friends voice. He then contemplated all of his possible choices and decided to just go towards them and sit down.

"Nii-san..who's this?" Natsu had asked her brother.

"This natsu, is kenma." He replied.

"Oh! Nekoma's setter?" Natsu asked to which kenma nodded.

"Nice to meet you! I'm natsu." She said holding out her hand. Shocking kenma at how similar she was to her brother.

"U-uhm It's n-nice to meet you too uhm natsu-san." Kenma had said shaking the little girl's hand.

"So what brings you here kenma? You don't really go out much." Hinata said.

"Oh uhm, I got bored playing games so I decided to take a walk..then I got here." Kenma said quietly.

"Alright then...Hey natsu! What do you think of making a flower crown that's for kenma?" Hinata asked happily.

"Great Idea nii-san!" Natsu chirped.

They then started picking out flowers, and by the looks of it they were daisies and blue roses.

"Kenma, If you want I can teach you to make a flower crown?" Hinata asked.

"..Oh Uh.." Kenma started.

"C'mon! It'll be fun!" Hinata said with his infamous smile.

"Oh..uhm..alright then..shoyou.." Kenma said quietly.

Natsu was now putting in the finishing touches with the help of her brother. It was finally done and natsu happily put it on top of kenma's head.

"You're even more beautiful now with a flower crown on, kenma-san!" Natsu said cheerfully.

"I..uh..thanks.." Kenma said surprised.

Hinata was just giggling now along with natsu. Kenma just stayed silent until he too started quietly laughing.

"So... how about that lesson on making flower crowns kenma?" Hinata asked.

"Sure shoyou.." Kenma had said smiling softly at the younger boy.

Hinata smiled back brightly at him. The whole day was basically taking care of natsu, teaching kenma, catching up and last but not least just hanging out.

Kenma had finally learned to make a flower crown and put it on top natsu's head making all of them smile happily. Not even once in the entire day did any of their smiles fade away.

The nature happily engulfed them with peace and comfortable silence. To every single other thing, They really did look like a happy family right now. To them, they felt like a happy family.
