Morning Coffee

It was a monday today, and well it was raining too. For most people, Mondays were hated by well basically everyone excluding one little cinnamon roll.

This cinnamon roll goes by the name of hinata shoyou. He rather liked Mondays especially now since there was a light drizzle of rain. It always made him feel at peace with himself.

Most people would beg to differ to that statement however. Especially a certain pudding head named kozume kenma.

He just hates mondays, especially if it were raining...to which it was. Mondays made him feel like complete death. This would be why he's always needed some coffee on Mondays.

He's just moved to a new area however, so he couldn't go back to his usual cafe. He was wandering around the city and found an average sized cafe, it's named "café étoilé". He peeped inside the cafe a little and saw that not a lot of people were there.

'I need some coffee, so why not.' Kenma thought to himself, shrugging.

He pushed open the glass door making the little bell chime indicating there's a new customer. The ginger cashier had looked up and saw someone walking up to them. He smiled and waited for them to reach them before saying anything.

"Good morning sir! Is there anything you would like to order?" The ginger, shoyo as his name tag says, asked him.

'He's kinda cute..' Kenma thought.

"Ah..uhm..yes. Can I get some dalgona coffee please?" Kenma asked the ginger.

"Ah yes, right away. Would that be To-go or dine in?" Shoyou asked.

"To - Go please." Kenma said.

"Alrighty, Name for the order?" Shoyou asked him.

"Kenma.." He said.

The ginger quickly wrote that down on the cup and got to work. He had made the coffee with precision and decided to add a little bonus of caramel.

He then put the lid on the cup and then put on the coffee holder, but not before he scribbled something behind it.

Kenma noticing this decided to just let it be and check on it later. Shoyou then gave the cup to kenma.

"One dalgona coffee for kenma ready to go." Shoyou said with a bright smile.

"Thank you..." Kenma said grabbing the coffee cup. He looked at his name tag.

"..Shoyou." He added with a small smile of his own. The ginger had smiled back even brighter this time.

He was gonna walk out of the shop, but decided to look at what he'd written on the cup. He took out the warm holder and surely enough there was writing.

It said:
"Hey kenma, You're pretty nice! What do you say of hanging out sometime? Text me if you want -XXXX-XXX-XXXX-. I'll be waiting~ <3 -Shoyou."

Kenma smiled softly and turned back to shoyou. Shoyou noticed him staring and just winked. He then made a gesture to text him back. Kenma just softly nodded before leaving and having a sip of his foamy dalgona coffee.

He had later realized that he'd received a bonus of caramel drizzle, one of his absolute favorite flavors. He had smiled softly once more thinking back to the cute ginger he'd met earlier.

Kenma was just a tiny bit happier than he had been earlier. Mondays didn't hate him that much it seemed.

'Maybe sometimes mondays aren't that bad after all.' Kenma thought to himself while texting shoyou to take up his little offer earlier.
