Glasses

Okay, maybe it wasn't the best idea to stay up playing games in the dark. It's apparently a factor of worse eyesight not that he knew that till earlier.

This concern comes from this one setter that plays for Nekoma. Hey, technically it wasn't his fault! He was just trying to progress in his worlds. It's part of the grind! Okay, maybe it kinda is but still.

"Ugh..Do I really have to keep these on my face most of the time?" He asked as he walked back home.

The reason he was complaining came from the framed lenses sitting atop his nose. He won't lie, They looked good on him. It's just that they were technically a bit annoying to get used to.

Step after step after step, he headed in the direction of his home carrying the case of his glasses along with this game he'd bought. Thankfully his new glasses came with blue light as well as a grade.

Maybe he'd ask hinata to play a game. Yeah he'll do that, I have to get used to the glasses anyways. He can help me learn how to get used to them.

He took his phone out of his pocket, and speed dialed him as he walked. Hearing his ringtone vaguely for a few, he heard something finally being shifted. It must be hinata answering the phone.

"Kenma! How're ya doin?" Hinata had chirped happily after answering.

Yup, it was definitely hinata who had answered. Who else could be like this with him? He'd know that voice from anywhere. Especially that tone.

"I'm good, it's nice to see ya too sho." He said as he smiled fondly at him. He was the best at cheering him up honestly. It was a talent at this point.

"Mhm, so what's up? Why're ya calling? From the sounds of it, you're walking right now?" Hinata stated as he waited for an answer.

"That's right sho, I was wondering if ya wanted to play this new game I bought tonight?" Kenma asked.

"Sounds great, sure! Your house or my house?" He said as he continued to cook for his little sister. Their mom wasn't home at the moment, so he had to take care of her for awhile.

"Your house at 6?" Kenma asked as he fiddled with his keys, before unlocking and going inside his house.

"Perfect, also warning I've got to take care of Natsu today. Do you mind?" He asked as he started to plate everything.

"No, no, it's fine. I don't mind it at all. I'll see you later then." Kenma responded.

"See you, I have to feed Natsu now bye." Hinata said as he hung up the phone.

Natsu was then called down by Shoyou, they proceeded to eat their afternoon meal in silence. Kenma however just fiddled around with his new glasses.

He still wasn't really used to them, he'll get used to it sooner or later. Few hours have passed already and it's now nearly 6pm. Kenma got ready to go, with both his game and glasses.

Hinata was setting everything up, so that they could play. When kenma had arrived, he greeted him at the door.

"Kenma! Nice to see you! I see you have glasses now. That's nice." Hinata said as he let him inside.

"Nice to see you too sho, yeah I'm not that used to them, but everything has been clearer." He responded.

"I actually have some blue light glasses of my own, I don't have to use them that much as my eyesight hasn't been that bad. I see you apparently already have a grade needed hm. Yeah gaming'll do all of that to you." Hinata said as he set everything up to get ready gaming.

"Yeah, I'll get used to it sooner or later. Oh by the way where's Natsu? I haven't seen her." Kenma said as he held out both of their controllers.

"Ah yeah she seemed sleepy, so I put her to bed. We should probably be just a bit quiet so as to not wake her." Hinata said as he started the game.

"I see." Kenma responded, they picked out their characters and went through the tutorial.

After understanding everything about the game, they started to play for a bit, doing all the quests available. Main or side story, they still did it. That's how you play this game after all.

"Off topic, but you look good in glasses." Hinata said as he continued to complete the assigned quests.

"Thanks.." Kenma responded with some flushed cheeks, he tried to hide it from the other boy though. He had failed his task miserably, he noticed. He even had this sly smile on his face.

It made his heart race, but he continued to play the game while trying to bring his blush down by a little. He wondered how hinata would look in glasses, cute he'd even bet on it. Looking back at him he also had a noticeable blush. It then occured to him that he said everything out loud. If it was possible, He was now blushing even more than before.

Both boys were now exact replicas of tomoatoes. If possible they were redder than each other by each second. They still played the game brought though, even if they were super flustered at this point. Snack breaks would happen here and there as well. This was all because of kenma needing to have glasses.
