All the guitarists from the bands had gotten together to share tips with each other, as it was part of a joint live show that was going on between the five bands. "Hmm.. I don't know I just play~" Hina laughed, strumming her guitar. "How did you guys learn?"
Sayo gave Hina a strict look. "Cmon Hina, you don't have any tips or at least how you feel when you play?"
"It's fine~ Moca-Chan knows exactly what she means~" Moca butted in, giving Sayo an oddly playful look.
"Yes... by just allowing yourself to play you ultimately release the chains and stress of becoming perfect and therefore enjoy playing even more! It's genius!" Tae said, her eyes lighting up.
Sayo gave them all wide looks, and with a sigh, turned to Kaoru, and stupidly asked "Are you getting any of this Seta-San?"
"Of course..!" Kaoru gave Sayo a surprised, but radiant look. "Hina is a master at the guitar not for her understanding of it, but for her spirit and love of her craft...As the great bard once said.. 'One can have no smaller or greater mastery, than mastery of oneself'... ah~ how fleeting~" Kaoru proclaimed, doing multiple hand gestures as she gave her small speech.
Sayo looked between all of them, as they all stared at her for her input on the subject. "I.. uh.. well um.." she stammered, feeling a bit undermined by this whole concept. "I'll be right back- oh but don't be afraid to talk without me.. I'm sure I won't have problems catching up." She said, quickly walking away.
She noticed Hina giving her a troubled look, but she ignored it, heading towards the changing room.
Luckily, nobody was in it, giving Sayo a chance to sit back and calm down. "I can't believe out of everyone that I could be dealing with.. they're all crackheads." She said, her voice was small and quiet.
She jumped at the noise of the door creaking slightly, and instantly knew who it was. "L-listen Hina, I came in here because my outfit was disturbing me! I'll be out in a second I promi-"
"Hina~? Moca-Chan has never been called Hina before~" the snowy haired girl peaked her head in, a small, gentle smile on her face.
Sayo hadn't noticed before, but as she looked at Moca, she realized how heavy her eyes felt, and how blurry her vision was getting. "M-Moca.. ahaha.. you d-don't need to.." she sniffled, unable to finish her sentence due to the knot in her throat. 'Dangit! Now she's going to be worried about me, this is the last thing everyone probably wanted to happen at this concert.'
She felt a 'paft~' on the seat next to her, and she realized there was no going back. She tried her best to hold back any wheezes and tried not to lose track of her breathing, but she ended up doing exactly that.
She was surprised when Moca didn't say anything, and just let her cry while giving her a comforting look. "I-I'm sorry.." she said, her throat was tight, making it hard to speak. "I shouldn't be crying over this, it's just always been so hard for me to understand how you all have such unique and amazing sounds."
"Hmm~ Moca-Chan thinks Sayo has her own way of playing.. maybe one that even we don't understand~?" Moca said, putting her forefinger to her chin.
Sayo blinked, trying to see Moca's face more clearly. "What do you mean you don't understand?" She watched Moca grab her guitar, Sayo hadn't even seen her bring it in.
Moca started to play a simple rhythm and then handed it to Sayo. "Can Sayo-San play it back?" She asked
Sayo gulped, and tried her best to play it back note for note, and ended up missing two pitches slightly at the end. "I can't do what my sister can, but that was pretty good right?" She said hopefully.
Mocas Eyes were wide open. "Woah~ that tune took me a whole week to get down with all the sharps and flats that were thrown in there~!" She started giggling "I guess Sayo-San just takes herself for granted like that sometimes~"
Sayo stared at Moca for a moment, then looked back down at Moca's guitar. "Y-you're joking with me right? Well.. even if it made me feel better just a little bit.." she shook her head, standing up and walking away from her peer. "You really shouldn't lie to people like that you know?" Sayo squinted at Moca, trying to catch any little movement that could hint Moca was caught in the act.
"Of course Moca-Chan wouldn't lie, especially to you Sayo-San! Even if we're in rival bands.. you're one of the guitarists I some what look up too!" Moca closed her eyes, a soft smile still on resting on her face.
Sayo felt her face grow red with embarrassment. 'The guitarist for Afterglow looks up to me..? Even if it's only by a little..' before Sayo could see it coming, Moca pulled Sayo into a hug, the azure haired girl gasped as she was spun around in a Disney like scene, until eventually Moca was looking up to Sayo with glittering blue-green eyes. "I'm glad we had this chat~ it's one I've been meaning to have with you for a long.. loooooong time." Moca said , her small smile growing bigger by the second.
"M-Moca— what are you-!?"
Sayo, even though she was a little taller than the other girl, was pulled into a kiss which seemingly lasted forever. Sayo wasn't sure how she felt at first, until she got used to the feeling and started enjoying it.
Eventually the two pulled away, gasping for breath. Sayo couldn't help but have a large smile on her face. "There's that smile Moca-Chan loves~" Moca said, sounding out of wack due to her loss of breath.
Suddenly, the door busted open, and there was Hina and Kaoru, both wide eyed and flustered by the display. "O—ONEE-CHAN!?" Hina gasped, looking at the two up and down, left and right, etc.
All Kaoru did was stare at the two, who's bodies were pushed against each other's, faces a red mess as well as their hair (Sayo hadn't realized She had been running her finger through Moca's hair) and the pair's loud breathing.
Sayo tried to pull away but Moca hung onto her with a hug. "You can't Hide forever Sayo-San~" she said mischievously.
"M-Moca!? Not now of all times to be flirty~~!"
The two somehow kept the scene a secret, even though Sayo was heavily teased when she got home by Hina.
Luckily, Sayo got Moca's number from Tomoe, who messaged her with 'for some reason, Moca wanted me to give you this. I'm glad the Joint concert was a good bonding session for the guitarists!' Along with some cool stickers.
Sayo giggled and ended up messaging Moca for half the night.
"I'd never expected something like this to happen." Sayo said breathlessly as they video chatted.
"Psh~ Moca-Chan saw it from a mile away.. did you know Moca-Chan could predict the future~?"
Sayo shrugged, letting out a quiet laugh. "I guess so~"
