Son of Tartarus-Chapter 12

Disclaimer: NOTHING belongs to me. PJO and HoO belong to Rick Riordan.

A/N: So this will be the start of The Titan's Curse (I cut Sea of Monsters out completely for Percy, had Jason do that quest instead). Calypso had to go back to Tartarus but before that happened Percy shadow travelled them to scenic locations like the Eiffel Tower so Calypso could see the world. Chiron has told the Olympians about Percy and many of them don't trust him due to his parentage. Percy returned to Tartarus with Calypso (he can enter and leave at will) and his dad (Tartarus) insisted that he stay and learn about his powers.

'This is me thinking'

"This is me talking"

Percy

Life was nice. At least for a while. He had taken Calypso to see all sorts of beautiful places around the world.

They had visited the Eiffel Tower, the Great Wall of China and even ended up in the Antarctic (by accident) where Calypso had fallen in love with the penguins and insisted on taking three of them back to camp (Chiron had set up an area for the penguins with snow and ice). They had tried all kinds of food around the world (Calypso had tried some ice-cream and had gotten a brain-freeze) and had visited countless funfairs and theme parks.

Percy knew Calypso would have to go back to Tartarus at some point (unless they could convince the Olympians to let her punishment end) so he wanted her to make the most of her time. It had been a few months since Percy had retrieved Zeus' master bolt and found out about his parentage. Since then Tartarus (his dad) had come to see him in his sleep, training him in his powers. It was fun. Percy liked training with his dad, if only because he got to be with his family.

Percy and Calypso were currently at their last stop before they headed back to Camp Half-Blood. They had arrived in Hawaii a few days ago (Calypso found thee volcanoes fascinating for some reason) and had to wait for Percy to regain his energy before they could travel back to Camp.

"You ready to go?" Percy approached Calypso who was staring of into the distance.

"Thank you" Calypso turned round to face Percy.

"For what?" Percy asked, confused.

"For everything," Calypso said, "For showing me the world. For helping me. Percy, these past few months have been the best of my life thanks to you. So, thank you"

"Oh, well, your wel-" Percy was cut of when Calypso threw her arms round him, pulling him into a tight hug. He was surprised at first but hugged her back.

Calypso pulled back suddenly and they stood there in awkward silence for a few minutes, "So, should we go then?" Calypso was red in the face as she spoke.

"Uh, sure" Percy gently grabbed her hand, "You ready?"

Calypso nodded, "Let's go"

Percy concentrated, imagining the Big House in his minds-eye, as he pulled the shadows around them and they disappeared.

_(This is a Line Break)_

Percy and Calypso arrived at the porch of the Big House. In front of them there was a pot-bellied man playing some sort of card game with Chiron. It took Percy a moment before he recognised the man as Dionysus, god of wine and partying.

"Oh look, it's Perry Johnson and Calypso" Dionysus glanced at them, looking very bored.

'Why does he remember your name and not mine?" Percy addressed Calypso, sounding offended. Calypso just rolled her eyes and turned her attention to Chiron who looked like he was about to speak.
