Chapter 2

I ended up staying in Wakanda for a few months. I got to know everyone here. I started learning their language and everything about this country. It was peaceful until T'Challa's long lost cousin came and messed that up. I had to watch his cousin Erik throw him off the cliff. We all thought we lost him. But we didn't. He survived. But he had to kill Erik in the end. It messed T'Challa up for a while

I make my way to the thrown room and knocked. I'm let in and I see T'Challa looking out the window

"Uncle T" I say to him. He turns his head a little but doesn't fully look at me. He looks out the window again

"Are you okay?" I ask him

"Aren't you supposed to be getting back home?"

"I couldn't leave till I knew you were okay?" I say and he finally looks at me

"I'm fine Y/N. Go home"

I shake my head "You're not okay T'Challa"

"What do you expect! I lost my father and my cousin all in a short amount of time!" he yells 

"You can't blame yourself for their deaths" 

"It's better said than done" he mumbles and he turns back to look out the window

I walk up to him "You can't beat yourself up about that uncle T. It's not healthy"

He looks over at me "Go home"

I shake my head no 

"Why must you be so hardheaded"

"I was born that way"

He chuckles 

"I'll go home when you promise me you won't keep beating yourself up about this"

He looks over at me 

"ndiza kuzama" (I will try) 

I smile as I translate what he says in my head

"Kulungile" (Good) I reply 

" Kufuneka ugoduke ngoku" he says and I get confused 

"I'm still learning Xhosa so can you say that in English?" I ask him and he chuckles 

"You need to get home now" he says in English 

*End of Second Flashback*

As promised I went back home. Tony, Pepper and Happy were thrilled I was back home. But I needed to see Peter 

*Third Flashback*

I drove to his apartment building and knocked on the door. May opened the door

"Y/N! Welcome back" she said as she let me in. I hugged her once I made my way inside 

"Hi May. How are you?" I asked her as I sit on the couch 

"I'm doing good. How are you. How was your mission?"

I look at her confused

"Peter told me"

"Ah. Um it went great. I learned a lot about my mom's adopted family. It was nice" I say with a smile 

"That's great sweetie" she says smiling

"Is Peter home?"

" He should be on his way back" 

Just then Peter walks into the apartment building 

"Y/N?" 

I walk around the couch "Miss me Parker?" I ask him as I open my arms to hug me. He sets his bag down and jogs over to. I pull him into a hug 

"I'll let you two be" Aunt way says as she goes to her room

"How was your trip? Are you okay?" he starts asking me many questions. I kiss him to shut him up

"It was fine and yes I'm okay" I smile at him

"Good. I'm just so glad to see you" he says and I wrap my arms around his neck. He wrap his around my waist and holds me tight 

"I missed you too baby. So much" I say to him and we stand there embracing each other 

*End of Third Flashback*
