Chapter 15

I get a text from Wyatt when we're eating lunch to meet the others at a park to hang out. I show Rhys the text and he nods. I text him that we'd meet them in an hour. We're the only ones up so far. I put my plate in the sink and go to wake the girls up.
"We're meeting the others in an hour. You guys need to get up and ready, " I say. Tuesday throws a pillow at me that I narrowly dodge. Willow gets up and drags Tuesday out of bed. I walk back to the kitchen and sit down next to Rhys, whose focus is on his phone.
"Tell her to meet up with us," I tell him. He looks up at me confused. I take his phone and text the laundromat girl to meet up at a park in about an hour. I hand the phone back to him and he states at it in shock.
"It's not going to bite you kiddo," I tell him. I get up and make sandwiches for the girls and set them on the table. I put a bag of chips in the middle and munch on a few.
Scout walks in and eats her sandwich before Tuesday and Willow finally walk in. They sit down and start eating, Tuesday albeit sleepily. I start washing the dishes as they finish. I clean our plates and put them on a drying rack.
It makes me miss the dishwasher that the others have at their house. I look at my phone and see that it's almost time for us to leave. I tell the others and we all pile into my car. I text Wyatt that we're leaving and turn on the ignition.
I drive off back to the park. Rhys plays music from his phone. We listen to a few TOP song before we get there. I park a bit further from the front because the park is packed. We walk to the field we we're at yesterday and sit down.
Willow points out a cute guy and Tuesday encourages her to go get his number. She gets up and walks over to him and asks. He smiles and takes her phone from her hand and inputs his number.
He waves her goodbye and walks off, leaving Willow staring at the way he went. I chuckle at her and she turns her head my way. I shrug and smile at her.
"Oh my god, it's a rat!" Someone screams. I watch as Cove runs up to Willow and tackles her to the ground. I roll my eyes and sigh. Rhys sits on the grass and texts laundromat girl. I see her walking to us but he doesn't seem to notice. I get up and run over to her quickly.
"Go behind him and surprise him!" I tell her. She smiles and nods. She goes to walk over but I pick her up and fly her closer. I put her down lightly and she inches closer after getting over the shock of flying. She climbs onto his back and yells. He screams and looks back at her.
"Kaylee! " he yells. He hugs her and I take pictures for blackmail purposes of course. I send a couple to Scout and she smiles at me from where she's taking to Astrid. She shows Astrid the pictures and I see her laugh.
Leon walks over to where Cove is talking to Willow and wraps an arm around her shoulders. I smile and take a picture of that too. Blythe and Oak are trying to climb up one of the trees and I walk over to them. 
"I found a bird's nest!" Oak exclaims. I look up the tree and see Oak sitting next to a nest. Blythe sits a branch or two down and stares up at the nest. She tried to get up closer but can't.
"How many eggs?" Blythe calls up. Oak holds out seven fingers. My eyes widen, that's a lot of eggs. I fly up to Oak's height and hover, looking into the bird's nest. They climb back down the tree and I land beside them.
We walk over to the others who are sitting down in a circle. I look for Wyatt but can't find him anywhere. I sit down in the circle and look around. Eventually I give up and we start playing truth or dare.
"Now!" Leon suddenly yells. I look at him confused before I'm lifted up and thrown over someone's back. I look at their face and see that it's Wyatt. He runs around in circles and then puts me down on the grass.
"Rude," I say while trying to get up. I almost fall because of being so dizzy but Wyatt catches me before I hit the ground. I regain my balance and walk back over to the group. He sits down beside me and smirks.
I wack him on the head with the end of my wing. He just smiles wider and we play the game. Scout's phone sits in the middle of the circle and tells what dares or truths we do. I pick dare on my turn and it dares me to go scream pineapple from the highest point I can.
I get up and fly around screaming pineapple as loudly as I can. Scout holds her phone and records me. I land back in the middle of the group, my face flushed and throat dry. Leon throws me a water bottle and I quickly chug it down.
I sit back down and watch as Scout has to lift up the person to her right, which happens to be Astrid. She grabs her around the waist and lifts her up and then almost immediately puts her down. Astrid then lifts up Scout bridal style with little difficulty.
She puts down Scout but not after I got a few pictures. I send one to Astrid and she smiles while Scout sulks beside her. The game goes on for a long while before we decide to go get a snack before we go on our mission. Half of everyone rides with me and half with Leon and Wyatt.
I follow them to a hole in the wall restaurant and park in the front. We walk in and the waiter pushes two of the bigger tables together for us. I sit in between Wyatt and Rhys.
I order a strawberry lemonade and a rueben. The others order too and I'm suddenly glad that we're the only ones in the restaurant. We are really loud and took up a lot of the tables.
We eat our food and get out of there quickly, knowing that it's almost time for our mission. We drive near the building after dropping Kaylee off. I get out and fly over it, making sure to keep away from any security cameras.
I fly around the tall, looking building and tell Blythe over the phone where the cameras and alarms are. I watch as the building shades the street as the sun finally goes down over the horizon. I go back over to where we parked and land in front of the others.
"Ready?" I ask quietly. They all nod and we walk our separate ways.
