Chapter 17

They walk up to the door and try it. Almost immediately after Rhys phases through to open it. It opens and I click to the camera inside the room. They walk around the room and try to find anything.
I pocket the flash drive with everything else, in case they try to blackmail us back. Scout climbs up on top of the filing cabinets to get a better angle and points at something the top of the door.
Leon picks Rhys up and he grab the thing on top of the door. Rhys jumps down and walks over to the computer. They all pile around it as Rhys puts the disc in. 
Blythe and Leon watch in embarrassment as the thing goes on and I think that they found the blackmail. Rhys takes the thing out and puts it in his pocket.
Tuesday suddenly holds a hand up and they all freeze. I click to another camera and see that a person is walking by the room. The person sees the door open and peers in.
They stand there gaping at the five. They then go running off down the hallway screaming so loudly that we can hear it. I get out of my chair and grab my phone, quickly pocketing it.
"We need to leave, now!" I say and Wyatt follows me out. Astrid runs along beside us and we run down to where the others are. As the person runs by Astrid takes control of them and realized they have their phone in hand.
She sighs and walks them over to Wyatt, letting him knock the person out. I grab the phone and end the call. We keep running to the others and meet them in the middle.
"Blythe, turn the security cameras off and delete the footage. The rest of us we need to get out of here. Leon come with me and Wyatt, Astrid go with Scout. Move!" I exclaim. They all go off and do what they're told.
"We're going to run down the hallways. Leon freeze the floor, Wyatt, melt the ice to water. I'm going to pour soap all over," I tell them. They nod and we start.
We run around the building spreading water and soap. I put a net over it so it doesn't all spray out at once. We hear voices yelling and freeze. I turn to them and shrug.
"Guess we're gonna have to fight," I say. They nod and good their hands up while I look behind us and spread my wings. They start attacking and I do my best to get them to the other side.
My hands don't stop tingling and after a while they start to hurt. I grimace and keep leading the people over to the other side so Leon and Wyatt can deal with them.
Once people haven't came my way for a while I turn and face the other way where Leon and Wyatt are trying their best to keep them at bay. Some of the people slip on the soapy ground and can't get up, which makes it easier for Leon and Wyatt to kill them.
The pain starts to spread from my hands to my arms and I groan. Wyatt looks over at me and sees my pain but I smile and wave him off. He nods and keeps fighting them.
The pain finally gets to be too much and fire bursts from right hand. Ice also bursts from my left hand. I feel my wings burst out too and I smile. This is going to be interesting.
Most of the people stop fighting and state at me. Leon and Wyatt then to see me and gape at my half flaming, half freezing wings. I shrug and start bursting fire and ice from my hands.
I fly up and clip people with my wings, effectively freezing or setting them on fire. Wyatt and Leon are standing and getting the people who can't get off the soapy ground.
After a few minutes almost everyone is frozen or charred and we start running out of the building. We go through one of the back doors and put into the night air.
"You still are flaming and freezing," Leon points out. I look back and my wings are still doing their thing. I shake them and the flames go out. The ice shakes off and my wings are back to normal.
We walk back over to the cars and wait for the others. They all come a little after each other, a plan so that we don't seem suspicious to any bystanders. 
"We can go to our house, we have a lot of extra rooms," Cove suggests. Leon walks over to her and slings an arm around her shoulders, making her lean into him and giggle.
Scout and Astrid roll their eyes and I smile as we walk to our cars. We get in the cars and drive off to their place. We park in front of the house and get out. 
I watch as half of my friends stare at the mansion like house. I chuckle and start walking up to the front door. Wyatt opens it and we all walk into the living room and sit down.
"So what did you guys do with the boss?" Astrid asks. Oak and Blythe run around the house, seeming to have more energy than any other human in the world could or should ever have.
"We took him to a bar and put him on the curb before buying a drink and putting it beside him," Cove says as she leans her head on Leon's shoulder. He runs a hand through her hair and I take a video and send it to Willow and Wyatt.
We talk for a while longer before agreeing to watch a movie. I sit beside Wyatt as everyone but is argues about what movie to watch. I lean back and chuckle at them.
He looks over at me and smiles. I blush lightly and look away from him and back over to where they're picking out a movie. They finally picks movie and Scout puts it in.
"Meet me in the room we were before after the movie," Wyatt whispers to me as the movie starts. I nod and try to watch the movie only to find out I can't focus because I'm nervous about what Wyatt wants to talk about.
I eventually sigh and give up, walking to the room a third of the way through the movie. I sit down on the bed and lay there, sitting on the bed staring at the ceiling.
I plug my headphones into my phone and listen to music trying to calm down.
