Chapter 7 The Brownies

Addie was leaning over the oven watching him stir the regular brownie mix,she was wearing was wearing a jean jacket and a long floral orange dress. The dress wasn't low, but when she leaned over it showed a bit of cleavage, only kelso and he seemed to notice this. She was staring too intently at the mixing blow.

He finished pouring the mix into the tin, and handed her the mixing bowl and Spatula. She took them both and smiled truimpetly, she gently spooned the mix out, and licked the batter of the spoon. Hyde grinned, and bent over to get the other brownies out of the oven;still watching Addie lick the spoon, a wicked smile crawled over his face.

He nearly jumped out of his skin, when Mrs. Forman touched his arm "Oh Steven you are such a joy to have around the house I can't believe your mother abandoned you, I mean went on such a long trip."

Both Kelso and Addie frowned at Ms.Forman. He hated when people brought up his family, why couldn't everbody else just forget about. But still he smiled at Ms.Forman she meant no harm.

Kelso smiled  "Boy I sure do like brownies, Hey you know what's got two thumbs and really likes brownies? This guy , and apprently this girl" he points to Addie who smiles, but to focused on the batter to look up. Then Eric's sissy self walked in.

"Hyde oh come on I am asking you not to make these brownies," Kitty turned around and stared at Eric " I mean my mom and dad are way too fat" .
Addie rolled her eyes, and smacked Kelso with the spoon when he stuck his finger in the bowl.
Mrs. Forman put her arm around me, and shook her finger at Eric." You know what Eric you just leave him alone this is Stevens's contribution to our garage sale and I happen to know that you put the special ingredient in these brownies"

Addie dropped the spoon on the floor,Kelso's mouth fell open.

" I told him not too!' Eric paniced like the pansy he is Quickly shifting guilt to me,
"Special ingredient?" I smiled; there was no way she could have known.
Ms.Kitty smiled " love!"

Hyde took a breath of relief "Oh yeah there's a whole big bag of love in there" , Addie laughed nervously  and picked her spoon back up. Then Laurie walked in complaining about some neighbor switching prices and Mrs. Forman quickly left the kitchen.

Addie walked across the kitchen placing the bowl and spoon in the sink, beginning to wash them. He wondered either she going to the movie with the girls or staying here.

"So you going to this movie?"

Addie turned around, wiping her hands on the clean dish towel " I'm not really sure, I was think about ditching them at the movie, and walking to the art supply shop but there's also chocolatey chocolate brownies here"

"The art supply is a long walk from the movie threater" was he trying to convince her to stay her with him, since when did he care where she hung out.

" but man that would make Fez the third wheel, give the little dude a chance" Kelso nudged her when she walked back near the oven,

"see and there's another vote for the brownies, man" she smiled dripping her finger in the mixing, Hyde after " there's not gonna be brownes if you keep eating all the mix"

Addie shrugged her shoulders " as long as I get the special brownies who cares about these" she waved gernerally over the plain brownies.

"Me I care! Hyde god you can't make special brownies in my parent's kitchen" eric was now standing directly in my face, blocking my view of Addie licking the brownies mix off her finger, he looked at Eric exasperated.

"Look Forman relax man, okay yeah I am making special brownies but I am also making regular brownies for the straight folks or losers" hyde chuckled, and addie giggled.
"Yeah someday in gonna own a restaurant and everything is gonna be special and then when people ask me and they say "hey Kelso what's the special" I'm gonna say everything!"

Addie laughed and hit Kelso in the stomach, " the only thing special there will be your stupid ass" Hyde and Addie both laughed, and Eric finally sensing defeat walked out of the kitchen.

Addie and Kelso both looked out the kitchen to see Fez,Eric and Donna screwing around in the middle of the gargage sale, when he saw a tall strict looking man coming up the drive "
Addie isn't that you step dad- coming up the"
But Addie squealed and ducked between the small space between the oven island and the wall.

"  why the Hell is he here"

"Probably to look at the gargage sale duhh..."

" Kelso, he's doesn't even buy shoes that are on sale, you think he's going to buy a used golf club, No he's probably here looking for me to send me home or go grocery shopping with mom."

"Looking for you, he does't know your here already?"

Addie was stroking her braid "haha, I told Ryan I was going out and ran out of that house before breakfast was even served , thank god Ryan's a morning jogger"

"so what you've been up since 7:00 just to avoid being in the house with you step-dad?" Hyde chuckled, he knew Addie couldn't stand her step-father but he didn't know it extened this far.

" Umm.. Yes he wanted mom to teach me how to fold fitted sheets and cooks his favorite dinners"

"but what about breakfeast"kelso looked concerned " you can't just skip breakfast .

" I stole a cookie from the counter, and I just had brownie batter" Addie went up on her knees and peered over the oven. " Damn, he's still there" she sunk back down.

"Uhhh... Addie He's talking to Red who just pointed to the kitchen" Hyde grimaced at her.

"Well that's my cue, see you later hyde"
She grabbed Kelso by the arms and ran out the back kitchen door.  " You, jackie, donna, and me are going to a movie."

Hyde felt and odd sensation ,But smiled anyway " don't forget to sit on the otherside of the thearte from Fez." But all he heard was the front door slam.

Hyde bent over the oven about to open it, when he heard the front door open

" Addison, Get your little stupid behind out here, or I swear to the heavens, I'll" he stopped when he saw Steven.
"hello.. your baking? A boy baking brownies, what is the world coming to"he pointed at me vaguely"you baking boy have you seen Addison."

" I can't say that have Dr. Chaplin, She was talking about going to a movie with the girls earlier,can't say where she'd be now" and Hyde gave him the biggest eat shit grin he could manage, as he heard Jackie's car pull away.
