When the house lands, they aren't in Kansas anymore. Dorothy also realizes, "Oh shoot, who is the old grump that I just smashed my house on top of ?" Dorothy also decides to take the shoes off the lady she just murdered because that sounds like a wonderful idea! After that the story isn't very intriguing. Dorothy wants to get home, she starts following the yellow brick road to Emerald City to ask for help from the Wizard of Oz, she meets a Scarecrow, Lion, and Tin man along the way. As it turns out, the person she killed was the Wicked Witch of the East, making her sister the Wicked Witch of the West. The Wicked Witch of the West also wanted the shoes. As result, she tried to kill dorothy multiple times, but failed miserably in attempt to reclaim the shoes. Well that's not how the story really went.
