chapter 4

Y/N POV:
i wake up and see mattia sleeping peacefully next to me. i try to get out of bed without waking him. until i feel his soft hand grip my wrist
"not this time" he says yawning while opening his eyes
"look i gotta go i have things to do" i tell him in a soft voice
"why did you leave last time" he asks looking straight into my eyes.
"it was a one night stand and i never wake up next to one so i left" i tell him bluntly

Mattia Pov:
she was so cold toward me. she got off the bed and started getting dressed. she turned around one last time
"thanks for the night" she says with a soft smile
i can't help but blush at her comment. at that moment i knew i need more of her.

1 week later
"hurry mattia we are going to be late" my dad exclaims and i walk down the stairs
"ok ok im here" i say
we both walk to the limo ale, kairi and my mom are already inside. we drive to the warehouse to meet with the parkers. we arrive and i step out the limo first. we walk into the warehouse and my dad shakes the hand of Mr. parker.
" ugh i hate these types of things" i whisper to ale and kairi
they both chuckle as a girl comes up to us and introduces herself
"cynthia parker, and you must be mattia polibio" she says as she extends her hand toward me to shake it.
" yes i am and nice to meet you cynthia" i say politely
we all gather around a table and sit down
"let's talk business mr. parker" my dad says as he crosses his arms
" we have a common enemies the mexican mafia, columbian mafia and the salvadoran mafia" my dad says as everyone nods in agreement.
"we must come together as allies to take these higher leaders down" Mr. parker says.

Y/n POV:
i walk into the warehouse and i'm not focused, i've never felt like this before.
"SWEETIE" my dad yells
"huh?" i say in confusion snapping out of my thoughts.
"these are the salazar's" my dad says as he looks at me and back to them
"a pleasure" i say the the couple standing in front of me.
"pleasure is all ours" mr. salazar says
"Sorry im late" i hear a young mans voice
Mr. salazar turns around and give the boy a death stare.
"this is my son kevin salazar" he says with embarrassment.

He finally looks at me and he smiles. oh that smile so precious. he walks toward me and grabs my hand to kiss it gently.
"it's a pleasure ms. valentino" he says with a smirk on his face
"call me Y/N" you say giving him a big smile back.
this boy is very handsome. but i find myself comparing him to mattia. i push those thoughts out of my head and we all take a seat and talk business.

during the entire meeting i can't focus on anything people are saying all i see are mouth movements but not any sounds.
"may i be excused i need to go to the restroom" i say politely as i stand up
i walk to the restroom as i hear a voice behind me
"are you alright y/n" i turn around and realize it was kevin
"um, yea no, yea" i say not knowing if i'm really ok.
"are you sure?" you seemed a bit off during the meeting.
it was true i didn't even know what was going on in the meeting. mattia had taken over my thoughts. i could let this happen not again never again i reflect as i have flash backs

flashbacks y/n pov:
i see blood on my hands ass i rush to my brother laying there lifeless.
"how could you" i say looking up at the monster in front of me
"next time i see you your a dead man" i say coldly to the man standing in front of me
"you wouldn't your NAIVE" he says screaming back at me
I grab my brothers gun in his pocket and i point it at the man.
"go shoot me" he says looking straight into my eyes

He starts to walk away and says
"you love me too much"
"i keep you up at night" he says teasing me
"i will always haunt you" he says turning around
end of flashback

"Y/n" he says snapping in my face
"your crying is everything ok" kevin says
i look at him bluntly and grab his tux and pull him close and kiss him. he pulls away
" no your not ok" he says i look at him and say
"can you take me somewhere" i look up at him
"yea of course" he says
