Mattia pov:
i got to my house as alejandro and kairi rush to me
"your dad needs to see you asap" they say
i nod and walk to my dads office and i knock
"come in" i hear him say as i open the door
"where were you mattia" she says annoyed
" i was out" i say
"tomorrow we have a meeting with the parkers to discuss how we are going to take down the mexicans" he says
"uh ok" i say
"that's all you have to say??" he says with a confused tone
"yea, look dad i'm tired i just wanna go to bed ok see you tomorrow ciao" i say walking out the office and i to my room
i walk into my room i take off my shirt and start to put on my tank top until i hear kairi and ale both gasp
"dude what happened" they say looking at the patch
"nothing" i say not wanting to think about it
"buddy that's not nothing" ale says and he walks up to me and rips it off.
"dude is that a gunshot????" kairi says
"yea" i say dryly
"who did it i'll kill them" kairi says with his fist clenched
"y/n" i say looking down
"WHAT?!?" they say checking the wound
"who helped you??" ale asks
"y/n" i say bluntly
they give me a confused look
"look just don't tell my dad ok" i say walking to my restroom

Kairi pov:
"should we be worried" i ask ale
"i don't know man" he says looking back at me
"it's like he doesn't care" i say
"what do you think happened" ale asked
"we gotta find out" i say
"how??" ale says
"we go to her" i say with a smirk
"are you crazy look what she did to mattia she would definitely kill us" ale says
"ugh your right" i say rolling my eyes
"well just keep an eye on him for now" ale says
i nod

Next day
Y/n pov:
"good morning girls" i say walking to the kitchen
"hey girly" avani says
"you left early yesterday" maddison says
"yea i got tired so kevin brought me home" i say
"so how was it?" avani asks smiling
"wdym?" i ask
avani points at the hickey on my neck
"uhh it was ight ig" i say covering it
"MHMMMM" maddison says
i totally forgot about that hickey but i couldn't stop thinking about the person that gave it to me. his presence was enough for me to overthink everything. how could someone have such an affect on me. but i shot him how could i do that to him. i was a monster and no one could help me.
"Y/N" maddison says while waving her hand in my face.
"What?" i say snapping out of my thoughts
"we have a meeting with the salazars today" she says
"right ok" i say walking to my room
"uh hey you ok girly" avani asks
"yea just call me when they arrive" i say
"ok" maddison says

Avani pov:
"should we worry" she asks looking at maddison
"hmm idk shes been really off lately" she says
"well she did just lose her dad and she killed her first love soo...." i say
"your right" maddison says nodding

Mattia pov:
i woke up as i got up as i was sitting up i got a sharp pain in my stomach and i remembered what had happened. i get up slowly and head to the shower and i turn on the hot water and i take my patch off and throw it in the trash. i step in the shower and let the water it my back and the drops roll down my body. while i stand there i think to myself every moment i've spent with Y/n. the fact that she shot me made me feel sad but at the same time when she pulled the trigger i saw the last fear in her eyes. i start to put shampoo and then my whole shower routine and i get out of the shower and i look at my mirror.
"Babe" i hear from my room
"babe where are you?" she repeats opening the door
cynthia runs in and hugs me and kisses me
"hey babe i was thinking we could go to the meeting together" she says pulling away
her hands travel down to my stomach as she sees the stitches her eyes widen.
"What happened to you?" she says look at me worried
"just a deal gone wrong you know how it is" i say pulling away
"oh ok well i'll wait for you down stairs" she says smiling
"ok" i say continuing to get dressed
cynthia was a nice girl she never gave me a reason to not like her she let me talk to anyone she was what you could call the perfect girlfriend but if i was being honest with myself i was only with her to get y/n off my mind. i finished getting ready and i walk down where i see the boys and cynthia talking.
"hey guys ready to go?" i ask as they all nod
we get to the car and the whole car ride i was quiet while everyone was talking. A few minutes later we arrive to the warehouse as we all get out i walk to the door and cynthia comes behind me and hugs me.
"hey you ok babe?" she asks
"mhm" i nod my head

we all walk in and we sit at a table and we discuss a plan to take down the mexican mafia. about an hour later the meeting finishes
" hey cynthia can i talk to you?" i say pulling her to the side
"of course" she says smiling
" look your an amazing girl but my heart isn't really in this relationship right now" i say looking down
"so you wanna break up?" she asks tears forming in her eyes
"i'm sorry it's just i don't wanna lead you on" i say
"why all of a sudden is there someone else" she asks
"no of course not it's just i'm gonna be 18 soon and i really wanna focus on my position right now" i say lying
"ok fine i'll be here waiting for you" she says smiling
i won't ever be yours i think to myself. i belong to my worst enemy.
