"you really just called me all the way here to eat pastries?" chaeyoung said, looking at a nervous jungkook in front of her. his intentions were still unclear to her. for the past week he has been trying his absolute hardest to break their bond, and now suddenly he called her to hang out."I remember you told me you like blueberry pastries. this place makes the best ones." he said.
"alright…" chaeyoung decided not to interrogate him anymore because it honestly looked like he was going to be sick. and he was. jungkook was feeling very nervous about this. he glanced at chaeyoung who was slowly eating her pastry. he felt his heart racing inside his chest. why is it beating so hard? he wondered. he's never felt this way before. at least, before meeting her.
"it's actually really delicious!" chaeyoung exclaimed, eyes twinkling and cheeks puffed up. he couldn't help but find her extremely adorable.
he noticed a bit of icing stuck on the corner of her lips, so he immediately leaned forwards and brushed it off with his thumb. their eyes met during this and his thumb lingered on the corner of her lips for a few moments. he had never noticed how beautiful her eyes were. a calm shade of brown which he was sure glowed like honey in the sunlight.
it wasn't long before he snapped back into reality, sitting back and clearing his throat. chaeyoung also diverted her gaze onto the window besides them, a pale blush forming on her cheeks. did she notice a hint of affection in his eyes? if she did, was it really for her?
"do you want to go to the night market after this?" he asked. chaeyoung looked back at him surprised.
"really?" she asked. he smiled and nodded.
