"This it?" The woman seated in the back of the car looked up at the cab driver that had spoken. She'd been dazedly staring into the basket occupying the seat beside her, only to notice that they'd finally arrived at her destination.
She nodded wordlessly as she stared at the decently-sized manor. She took another look at the basket before she opened the door. "I'll be right back," she mumbled, slipping out of the yellow car, delicately lifting the basket along with it.
She stepped up to the thick iron gates that surrounded the perimeter of the manor, staring at the doorbell displayed next to a large security camera. She ensured her hood covered her face as she placed the basket in front of the camera, staring at the little sleeping faces within it.
With a final, trembling sigh she placed a small note in the basket and rang the bell. She stepped away again, casting one last look at the basket before she got into her cab again. The driver looked slightly concerned and slight disgruntled as he looked at her, but he did not question her as he began to drive away.
The woman peered behind her at the manor again just in time to see the gates slide open, a man stepping out and lifting the basket; a member of the security team, no doubt. With that thought, she turned back around, leaving the manor behind.
