Love Or Attachment

Chapter 7-The proposal

On the breakfast table, Sid and Sana sat next to each other. Sana kept on looking at Sid's face but the latter didn't glance at her once. He took only a sip of tea and said:
"Aunty, i've to confirm a deal today, i'll take your leave."

He gave Sana' s mom his business card, on which was written his phone number.
"Here's my phone number. You may call me whenever you need any help "

Realising that Sid was hurt by whatever she told him in the room, he held Sid's hand under the table and latter finally looked at her.
Since Sid and Sana used to understand each other by looking in their eyes without saying a word, Sana tried to communicate to him in the same way.
Sid saw Sana's eyes filled with sadness and regret, he already understood that she wanted to apologise to him.
However, Sid being grumpy as usual, he said:
" Sana. Take care. And it would be great if you could stop judging people unnecessarily."
With this, Sid left Sana's home and went to attend his meeting to fix the deal of buying a plot for the construction of the school.

During the meeting, Sid' phone beeped. It was a message from an unknown number.

"Hey. Am really sorry."

Looking at the message, Sid already knew that it was Sana.
He then replied: "I'm in a meeting right now. Talk to you later."

Knowing that Sid was not in mood to talk to her, she didn't replied to his text.
As she wasn't feeling that well, she went to sleep a bit.

As she opened her eyes, she saw Sid sitting next to her. Surprised, she said:
"Sid you're here? Weren't you supposedly be in a meeting right now?"

Sid: "Take a look at your phone."

Sana: "2 messages, 7 missed calls? And its already 7 p.m?"

Sid: "I was worried about you when you weren't picking up my phone. So as soon as my meeting was over, i came here directly. I saw you sleeping like a baby and i didn't have the heart to wake you up".

Sana immediately got up and sat next to Sid on her bed. She held Sid's face and said:
"Am so sorry for whatever i said to you this morning. I don't know what had gotten into me. Maybe it's my insecurity. I think i'm not good enough for you Sid. You deserve someone better and who's more mature than me. Not a fool like me."

Sid leaned his lead to him and immediately stopped by kissing her on her lips. Shocked, Sana opened her eyes wide, looking at Sid.
She saw Sid's eyes closed, engaging in the kiss.
She immediately closed her eyes and respond to the kiss by sucking Sid's lower lip.
Sid totally engrosssd in the kiss, started to french kiss Sana passionately.
Sid grabbed Sana by her waist and made her sit on his lap.
Sana's legs were around Sid's waist and then continued to kiss each other passionately.
Sana burried her fingers in Sid's hair while Sid was caressing Sana's back and waist.

Then Sid stopped and said "Baby, maybe we should stop this here only. I don't want you to think that i'm just taking advantage of you."

Sana: "You don't have to say that. I know you don't have such intention. I trust you baby. Don't worry."

Then at the same time Shehbaaz knocked at the door.
Sana immediately got up from Sid's lap and opened the door. The lattet also got up from the bed and stood near the door.

Shehbaaz: "mom is calling both of you for dinner. Let's go."

Both followed Shehbaaz and went to the dining table and had dinner.

Sana and Sid were blushing each time they look at each other.

Sana: "How was your meeting?"
Sid:"The deal is done. My company bought the plot we needed to build the school."
Sana: "Oh that great. Congratulations."
Sana mom's jumped into the conversation and said: "You are doing an amazing job dear. Proud of you".

After dinner, Sid asked for everybody's attention to announce something.
Surprised, everyone looked at Sid, including Sana.

"Uncle, aunty. I know it's wrong to hide things from you. But i can't do that anymore."

Shocked, and unable to understand, everyone starred at Sid, hoping to get a clear explanation of what he just said.

Sid: "I can't hide my love for Sana anymore. I know you all already know about Sana's feelings for me. I want to tell you that the feeling is mutual. I really love Sana. Due to some misunderstandings, i couldn't express my love for her earlier.
So, with your permission, may i propose Sana for marriage right now?"

Everyone's eyes filled with tears of joy. Sana, who couldn't believe her eyes, started crying tears of joy.

Sid went on his knees, with a ring in his hand said:

"I bought this ring 3 months earlier to propose you when i realised that i love you. But you just left me and went away".

Guilty, Sana bent her head down, looking at the floor, crying.

Looking at her crying, Sid couldn't take it and said:
"Hey please stop it. I can't see you crying like this. I didn't mean to hurt you. Sorry."

He wiped Sana's tears and continued:
"Hey moti, will you spent the rest of your life with me? Will you marry me"

Sana immediately bend on her knees, facing Sid, huggef him and said:
"Yes. I will. I love you Sid."

Sid: " I love you too Moti. Lets take uncle and aunty's blessings"

Both took Sana's parents blessings and Sid called his mom to announce him this joyful news. The latter was so elated as she really adore Sana and always wanted her to become her daughter in law.

Sid: "Okay, i'll take your leave now."

Sana's mom: "Stay here dear tonight Sid. It's already very late. And also, till am here i won't let you stay in the hotel.
You bring your luggage here and stay here only."

Sid: "But aunty.."

Sana's mom: "No ifs and buts. It's decides you' stay here with us".

Unable to deny her, Sid agrees.

Sana was very happy with that decision that she didn't stop smiling.
