Chapter 16- Sana and Devoleena's confrontation

Sana": What made you come here Devoleena? To enjoy seeing me in this state? Aren't you yet satisfied after breaking my marriage"

Devoleena: "What are you talking about Sana? Sid just told me about your misconception. How can you even think like that? It's okay not to trust me, but Sid? How can you doubt his loyalty towards you?"

Sana: "Shut up Devoleena. You show your saint actings in your drama shows. I saw you and Sid with my own eyes at the mall. You guys were so close to each other."

Devoleena: "Sana you're getting it all wrong. Sid is just a good friend of mine. After you left him and went back to Punjab, he was completely broken. He needed a friend to share his sorrows".

Sana: "Oh then you decided to give him your support and take my place in his life. Congratulations, you've succeeded to do so."

Devoleena: "For god sake Sana, first know the entire thing before you judge. Sid loves only you Sana and that's a fact. During your absence he only talked about you, kept waiting for you hoping that one day you'll return back to him. But you didn't come back, this left a void a in Sid's life and he became so cold with everyone.
When i met him the day you saw us, I was so happy to see him back, full of life as he was before."

Sana: "Continue. I'll like to hear more about that day."

Devoleena: "I think you don't know Sana, that I'm married to Sid's friend Kushal. In fact, Sid was the cupid of our love story. He was the one who encouraged me to marry Kushal.
After marriage, I was facing a lot of problem in my marital life. I wasn't able to give time to Kushal which created a rift between us. The matter even went to divorce. Then I called Sid to ask him advice about the situation as he was the only friend i had. I told him to make a promise not to tell anyone about this because being an actress, many controversies could have been created about my personal life and i didn't want so. Today my marriage is saved just because of Sid and i'll always be grateful to him."

Sana was in shocked after listening to the whole thing.
She then said:
"What about all your messages? And your birthday wish?"

Devoleena: "Concerning the messages, we were only discussing about how to save my marriage. And the birthday wish, it was just a friendly one.
Sana, I share the same kind of relation with Sid as you share with Rohan. Sorry, i know i'm a stalker, but i follow Rohan on instagram and saw that most his posts are with you."

Sana in tears, sat on her bed and said:
"Oh my god, what have i done. I've said so many hurtful things to Sid out of anger. On top of that i didn't even give him the opportunity to explain himself. I ruined my marriage just because of a misunderstanding. I'll never forgive myself for that".
Feeling so guilty for hurting Sid, Sana cried her heart out.

Devoleena sat next to her and said:
"Sana, baby it's not too late to correct that mistake. Talk to Sid, i'm sure he'll be very glad that your misconception is over. You're very lucky to have him as your husband Sana. He loves you unconditionally amd no one can ever take your place in his life"

Sana held Devoleena hand and said: "I'm so sorry Devoleena. I misunderstood you and talked a lot of bad about you. Please forgive me"

Devoleena wiped her tears and said:
"It's okay Sana. It happens. I have nothing against you i promise. Just promise me that you'll try to sort out this issue whith Sid.".

Sana hugged her and said: "I promise"

Then someone suddenly knocked at the door.

A voice behind the door said:"Devoleena, are you inside?"

Devoleena opened the door and it was Kushal.

Devoleena: "Sana, i present to you my husband, Kushal.

Kushal: "Hello Sana, i think you don't know me but i've heard a lot about your from Sid.  I'm his friend and i've also attended your wedding."

Sana: "Hello Kushal,  I've heard a lot about you but never met you personally. Nice to meet you."

Kushal: "Same here. Well i've come to steal my wife from you."

Kushal wrapped his hand around Devoleena's waist and said:
"Baby shall we go home? I'm feeling a bit tired. Tomorrow i'll have to attend an important meeting".

Devoleena: "Yeah baby, i was coming to you only to say the same. Sana, i'll take your leave now. Just don't forhet about the promis and take care.

She kissed Sana on her cheeks and went home.

Sana was feeling so relieved after such a long time but at the same time she was very sad as she felt that she had really hurt Sid and the latter doesn't deserve this.
She went to stand near the window and started to cry.

With his eyes filled with tears, Sid came into the room, approached Sana and said:
"Sorry if i've hurt you Sana. I never had the intention to do so. Sorry for forcing you to stay here with me. If you want to go back, you may go. I just can't see you sad like this."

As Sid turned his back to walk away from the room, Sana hugged him from behind, with her hands locked around his waist.
