Love Or Attachment

Chapter 15- The party

Sid was already dressed in his classy and smart white perfectly fitted suite. He went  to receive his guests  in his big living room which was beautifully decorated in white, which was the theme colour for the party.
Knowing that Sana really loved Lilies, the entire hall was decorated with these flowers.

Sana, on the other hand, with her sulken face was not yet  ready for tge party.
She stood infront of the closet and was unable to decide which outfit she should wear for the party.
Due to her baby bump, most of her dresses couldn't fit her anymore.

As she turned back to sit on her bed, she saw a beautiful long offshoulder white dress on the bed. She picked up the letter lying next to the dress and read it.

"Wear this dress and get ready quickly. The party will start soon. -Sid"

She wore the dress and went to see her in the mirror. She was looking very pretty. Then dress lined her curvy figure perfectly and adorably flaunted her baby bump.
Sana tied her hair in a messy side bun and applied a very light make up.
She wore a medium height red heels and went to join the party.

As she was walking down the stairs, everyone's eyes were on her as she was looking so adorable.
She completely nailed that 'Pregnant look goals'.
However, Sana's eyes searched only for Sid to thank him for gifting thr dress.
She tried to find him among all these people and finally saw him, standing with a glass of whisky with his collegues, starring at her while she was walking down the stairs.

She was going towards Sid when suddenly Devoleena came in between them and she hugged Sid.
Devoleena: "Congratulations Sid. So proud of you.

On witnessing this, Sana remembered Sid's bretrayel five months ago and turned her back away from Sid with tears filled in her eyes.
She wanted to go back in her room but Sid's mom stopped her and ask her to meet her friends.

MIL's friends: "Sana dear, you're looking so pretty. It seems that Sid pampers you a lot."
Sana put a fake on her face, looking at Sid and Devoleena and replied: "Yeah, a lot."

As Sid went to talk to Sana, Raghav, Sid's bestfriend and the host of the evening called Sid on the stage and the latter gave his small speech on the completion of his project.

Sana was sitting next to Sid's mom on the same table as her friends.

Sid: "Thank you everyone for your presence. As you all know this party is thrown to celebrate the succession of the school project. For me, it's like a dream come true. Now many children  will have the opportunity to be educated.
This journey from being an actor to a businessman wasn't easy at all.
First of all i would like to thank my mom for giving me the strength to complete this project, my wife Sana, who completely changed my life with her unconditional love, my sisters for being my source of inspiration and my friends Jay, Mahi, Sheena and Devoleena and you Raghav for encouraging me throughout this project. Without you guys this wouldn't be possible"

Hearing this, Sid's mom and Sana's eyes filled with tears. However, Devoleena's name didn't go well with Sana.

Raghav: "Well congratulations Sid bhai. I wish you all the very best for all your upcoming projects.
So Sid bhai, what about the other good news?"

Sid: "Which news?"

Raghav: "The baby, Sid bhai. Can you describe your feelings as a dad to be".

Sid replied with his cheeks becoming red with blushing: "Um, this feeling cannot be described. I'm just feeling that i'm the luckiest man in this world. I just can't wait for the arrival of my baby. Thank you Sana, for giving the best gift of my life."

Sana looked at him with a small smile on her face.

Raghav: "Even i can't wait to see my little nephew or niece. But what we all can't wait right now is you and Bhabhi's cute chemistry. What say audience?".

Everyone starting shouting "Sidnaaz".

Raghav took Sid to Sana's table and the latter extended his hand to ask her for a dance.
At first, Sana refused and said:
"No please Raghav, i won't be able to dance in this state".
All the audience started to chant "Sidnaaz" name.

Sid's mom: "Sana beta, for my sake, dance just a little bit".

Unable to deny her MIL's request, Sana held Sid's hand,  and went on the dance floor.

The song "Bol do na zaraa" started to play and Sid and Sana starred in each other's eyes as it was their favourite song and many memories were attached to this song.
Sid placed his hands on Sana's waist while the latter placed her hands around Sid's neck.

The tall and short height combination made them look very cute. Sana rested her head on Sid's chest and both started their slow dance.

Everyone was looking at them with an "Aw expression on their face".

Lost in each other's eyes, both reminisce about their memories, starting from their meeting in the reality show, their marriage and their fights. Both had tears in their eyes.
As the song was over, everyone applauded for them and kept on chanting "Sidnaaz".
Unable to hold her tears anymore, Sana ran into her room".
Sid looked at her as she climbed the stairs.
Sid tried to go after her, then his friends stopped him to introduce him to his new business partner for his upcoming project, that is the construction of another school in Mumbai.

Sana closed her room's door and started to cry.
Suddenly she heard someone knocking at the door.

"Sana? It's Devoleena. May i come in?"

Shocked and furious, Sana thought it was time to confront her for breaking her home.

She opened the door, let her in and turned her face towards the windows, looking outside.
