Chapter 5- The revelation

"Sana, stop" Sid screamed while running behind Sana.
Sana being stubborn didn't stop even hearing Sid's voice.
Suddenly a car that was coming with full speed knocked her down.
Having witnessed this, Sid was terrified. He ran towards Sana, who was lying unconsciousin a pool of blood.
Seeing Sana in such state, Sid took het in his arms and cried his heart out.
Without losing a moment, he stopped a car to take Sana to the hospital.
Sid carried Sana in his arms and brought her in the car.

Reaching the hospital, the nurses took Sana from Sid's arm, lie her down in a stretcher and headed towards the emergency room.

The doctor examined Sana and informed Sid that Sana has got a fracture in her head and has to be operated as soon as possible, otherwise she can have a severe brain haemorrhage or even die. However, the operation was risky as there are chances that she might get into coma or even die.
Being an optimistic, Sid always finds positivity in everything and he believed that nothing will happen to Sana.
He immediately signed the forms and soon the operation started.

2 hours passed by and there is still no news about Sana. Sid started to reminisce all the moments he spent with Sana and blamed himself for Sana's condition. He was crying uncontrollably when Rohan came and asked Sid about Sana's condition.
Sid related the incident to Rohan.
As more time passed by, both Sid and Rohan become more restless.

After some minutes, the doctor came out of the operation room and told Sid that the operation was successful, but the danger is not yet over. He said that if Sana doesn't regain consciousness in the next 12 hours, she might go into coma.
Hearing this, both Sid and Rohan were terrified.

Rohan informed Sana's parents about her accident. However, due to torrential rainfall, no vehicles were allowed on the road and Sana's parents couldn't come to the hospital.

On seeing Sid crying, Rohan encouraged him saying that:
"Sana is a fighter and nothing will happen to her".
Then Sid replied: "Oh i'm sorry. I hope that you don't mind me staying here".
Confused, Rohan replied: "Why should i mind? I hope you're not thinking that Sana and I are in a relationship. She's just my bestfriend and i already have my girlfriend, living in Australia."
A sense of relief could be seen on Sid's face after hearing this.
Rohan added: "Sana has loved only you Mr Sidharth. Ever since she had shifted to Punjab, she's always seen lost in her own world. She's no more that bubbly Sana i've known for years."

On hearing this tears started rolling from Sid's eyes.
He went to see Sana in the ICU and couldn't hold his tears seeing her lying unconscious.
He asked the doctor if he can see her and the latter agreed.

Sid sat on the chair next to Sana's bed and held her hand and said:
"I'm so sorry Sana. I'm sorry for all the pain i've caused you. If you knew how much i love you. Three months ago i rejected your love as i thought that you deserve someone better than me, younger than me who understands you more than i do. To be honest, i was afraid that things would not work between us due to the age gap between us. But just as you couldn't move, i'm also stucked in your thoughts and memories. I love you Sana and i want to spend the rest of my life with you."

On seeing them together, Rohan went to take some rest in the hall.
He spent the whole night crying looking at her until he felt asleep on the chair.

In the morning, a painful voice kept on taking Sid's name.
Hearing this, Sid immediately woke up. He was so happy when he saw Sana regaining her consciousness.
At the same time, the doctor came in and examined Sana. He told Sid that Sana is out of danger but she is very weak right now. She need full rest.

Accordingly, Sid got up from chair to let Sana take rest but Sana held his hand and stopped him from leaving.
She said: "Even i was under anesthetic effect, i heard everything you said yesterday and."
Shocked, Sid immediately stopped her from talking and told her
"Enough of your talks. We'll discuss about this later. Take your rest now. Bye ".
Sid left the room and at the same time, Rohan, Shehbaaz and Sana's parents came.

Sid met her parents and Shehbaaz, with whom he shared a great bonding. Sana's parents thanked Sid and told him to go and take rest as he stayed awake the whole night.
Knowing that Sana had her parents to look after her, he went back to the hotel to have some sleep.
