Part 7
Well it’s November and boy is it cold!! I had to put on my somewhat heavy jacket before I left to go meet the gang at the train station… I wonder why Yugi told me to meet them their… well any ways when I got there I saw Yugi getting some train tickets, “Yugi...? Where are you going?” “You mean where WE are going.” He smiled and showed a total of six train tickets! I felt so stupid!! “What!! W-was I supposed to pack for something o-or---““you worry too much you know that right Kat?” Joey came up from behind then Yugi told me that it was a short trip “PHEW!” I was relived “So where ARE we going?!” Tea asked “well let’s see…”Yugi showed us the tickets and we were all surprised that we were going to the city Kaibacorp was “no way we are going to see rich boy?!” “He said it was urgent” “Ok yug, if ya say so…” we got on the train and road on it… I think I fell asleep while sitting next to Atem, I blushed in embarrassment when I woke up…we walked from the train station to Kaibacorp and boy did my legs hurt when we got there! We called in on the intercom and told the receiver that kaiba sent for us… we were buzzed right in…. when we got into Kaiba’s office he welcomed us “I see you got my message” “yes I did Kaiba” after he replied Yugi snatched my hand and pulled me in front of Kaiba and introduced me “Kaiba this is Kari” Yugi said enthusiastically “she’s the newest member to the team” Kaiba just looked at me then said “well back to the matter at hand” Kaiba went back to his desk and sat down “what’s this all about rich boy?!!” Joey wanted answers “settle down wheeler I’ll get there… well something has been concerning me lately” began Kaiba we all sat and listened intensely “my worker have been diapering recently… the only ones here are me, mokuba, and Ronan…the rest have completely vanished… and apparently I’m not the only one with this problem…””W-what do you mean kaiba?” I was concerned “well a lot of people have been disappearing, lately not just my workers…””the shadow games are back”Atem said firmly “how can you be so certain?” Tea asked “it is the kind of same thing that happened last time” Yugi explained “but the REAL question here is why have the shadow games come back?” Atem looked worried… ”Atem…what are the shadow games?” I asked then he explained I got worried… everyone was in danger! “Well where were the most recent reports?” Yugi asked Kaiba gave him a piece of paper “thank you Kaiba” “Well yug, let’s go!” “Yea” Yugi lead us all out the door… when we were all outside I stopped and thought “why have the shadow games come back? Didn’t Atem say that they defeated them?” I didn’t move for a while then Atem came up to me “Kari… are you ok? What’s wrong?” I looked up “it’s nothing I’m fine let’s go” I smiled at him then ran to the gang… I have a feeling that my life was going to have a LOT more adventure and danger now that I met Yugi and the guy’s… and I was fine with it!!
