chapter 4

                        It is the most important and the most

anticipated season of the year which was raining

season and it is at this time that mal Abu's family

get to enjoy small part of his wealth because he

practiced commercial farming where he farms in

large quantity and sold it out,but during this

period he doesn't hire people to help in clearing

up cultivating or harvesting of his farm produce

he always says to himself that this is the time that

his family members are needed the most why

would he hire and pay people when he has many

people to assist him,but based on the fact that he

has a very big hecter of land he at some point in

time he lost counts of all the good or

approximation of what he was going to have due

to old age.His wives and family members also

made use of the time and would hid some part of

the harvest and sell some to be able to meet the

needs and also pay for their previous debt,not

that they were stealing but that was the only way

they could sustain their lives for a period of time

before was his duty as the

head of the family to provide for them which he

has but babu halin kashewa.
          
                            The period was coming to an end

and they have to round up their business and

looks for a place to hide it other than their own house,because when he sees it they would sure

pay for it,they were on the farm working that day

and he was soo tired but wouldn't want them to

know claiming he is agile after some minutes

they heard a loud scream ahhh.. ahhhhhh.from

where they were all working they dropped their

equipments and rushed to see why he was

screaming so loud  they all asked in unison what

happened baba and he replied I have been biten

by a sn snak  snake ooooooooo they where all 

confused and non of them know what to do it

was mama tala being the eldest that  she quickly

removed her scarf and tied it around his leg to

prevent the poison from spreading he was still

screaming before they called for aid.

                          They arrived at the hospital in not time and the poison was removed and and the necessary

things to be done were all done he was still

unconscious before the doc. ask to see  the eldest

in the family to explain things to him or her eem

madam we were able to stabilize him and soon

he would be contious and you also need to pay

for his bills and I am going to write out the

medication so go to the pharmacy to purchase

them,she was dumb struck where on earth would

she get the money but to be on a safer side she

went to the pharmacy section to know how much

it would cause them she prayed it wouldn't be

much so that they would be able to source for aid

but who would help them when the person that

is in the situation those not know what help

means to human she was still lost in her train of

thought when the lady called out on her madam

your medications would cause you a hundred

and fifty thousand Naira she didn't know when

she screamed and was rolling herself on the floor

shouting who would help me ooooooooooo

uhmmm it was one woman that took her out and

told her to please stop shouting that she was

disturbing them she dragged her weak self back

to the ward were he was admitted,when the rest

of the family members saw the state she was in

they knew all was not well so they all decided to

ask her when she was herself....
