Chapter 9 Kelsey_Writes_AE

"Oh, Okay, so that's why there is a belt in your hand and belt lashes on his back?" I sarcastically question Marcus, does he really think I'm that stupid? What an idiot. . .

"Y-Yes." He answers, I roll my eyes and drag Tobias out of the house, "Let's get you some help." I hoist my arm around his torso and help him out of the house. I need to get back inside my home.

Will they let me in? I walk the short way and knock on the door, my nerves going crazy. Luckily my mother opens the door, she gasps when she sees Tobias, "Tris, your father left, bring him in, don't worry." I nod and carry him inside to the downstairs washroom.

I make him sit on the edge of the bathtub  and I damp a washcloth, I dab the blood off his back and gasp when I see how deep they really are. I quickly get the roll of bandages and place some healing cream over each lash. I put the bandages on his back and he groans when I step in front of him, I can tell he is in major pain still. I open the cabinet to find some pain killers and I quickly hand them to him.

   "Thank you, Tris."

I nod and I lead him to my bedroom. He sits on the bed and I sit right next to him, "How are you feeling?" He asks, placing his hand on my stomach. It's sweet how much he cares. I sigh, "I'm okay, nothing has bothered me yet, you?" He frowns, confused, then remembers his back. "Oh, I'm fine, the stuff you gave me is really helping." I smile and he pecks my lips, "Oh Tris, what would I do without you?"
