Chapter 1 I HATE mondays

Chapter 1

 12 years later.

Raegans POV.

"HELL. FUCKING. NO!" I yell at my best friend, Ember. Today, is a Monday, we all know what that's like.

"Oh my, I'm soooo sorry I yelled at you!" I cry as I fly at her, giving her a massive bear hug.

"Can't breath.." she whispers. Oops.

Back to doing what she didn't want me to... I reach across her, keeping my eyes closed, and grab the gauze. I cut a long strip and lay it across my eyes. Pinning it down with medical tape. 

I open my eyes.

"Its so nice being able to see again." I glare at Ember, and totally swag my way out of the bathroom. In a towel.

Once I reach mine and Embers room, I close the door. Sighing, I grab my clothes I had laid out yesterday. I hate Mondays. 

I pull on my red and black cheetah spotted skinny jeans and a black tank top. "Screw people." I mutter aloud.

"RAEGAN! We're going to be late!" Akira yells. Akira is one of the other people I have to live with, there's Ember, Akira, Serenity (who lives up to her name) the adults, Lana, Todd, And my mum, Maureen. 

 Grabing my backpack, and Black Veil Brides hoodie, I race downstairs. The gauze covering my 'medusa' eyes, as I like to call them, was really irritating today. Scratching at it, I hop the last 3 steps almost falling on the landing.

This is about the point when my brain connects everything together, or maybe it was Spooky telling me what happened and laughing at me.

Still.

Holding my eyes, I double over. The pain in my eyes had gotten worse, and this time I know why. 

I open my mouth to let out a scream.

Here's the thing though, I was in pain. Because someone decided to fuse part of my soul with spookys -a full blown demon- when I scream with pain or rage, you can't hear it. What happens is, it pretty well much melts your brain.

Serenity however, had enough common sense to slap her hand over my mouth to stop my scream.

"WHO THE BLOODY HELL, PUT CHILI POWDER ON MY GAUZE?!"

Akira's POV

I giggle like the school girl I am as I listen to Rae's grumbling and I watch as she scratches her eyes. Or the gauze that she keeps over them.

I had slipped into Raegan and Ember's joint bathroom earlier this morning to put chili powder on the gauze she had laid out for today.

I smile widely as she almost falls over but my smile falls as she bends over and opens her mouth to scream.

Shit I'm gonna Die!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I turn uninvisible and hold my hands over my ears as I wait for the brain melting pain.

Luckily Serenity was there and quickly clamped her hand over Rae's mouth before she could melt all our brains into puddles of brain-ie-goo.

"WHO THE BLOODY HELL, PUT CHILI POWDER ON MY GAUZE?!" Rae screams in pure rage after pushing Rens hand from her mouth.

I stifle my giggle and go totally chameleon.

Rae pulls off her gauze just as Emmy starts to head down the stairs. She glares at us all with her red and purple freaking scary eyes.
