Chapter 5 Training and the Queen bitch

Chapter 5

Akira's POV

Ren and I walk over to a side of the training field.

"You blocking first or shall I?" Ren asks me and I think for a few minutes.

"I'll block first but on one condition, You can't use your telepathy on me at all. It's not fair in training." I tell her acting all serious.

"Okay" Ren says with a wide smirk on her face.

We get into position with Todd and Maureen over seeing us while Lana is off where ever the hell she is, doing whatever the hell big bitches like her do.

I prepare myself for her first strike which I'm guessing is flying rocks.

And I'm right.

I duck under two as she pelts them at me. I jump over one and land in a crouch position to dodge two more. I then have to roll to get out of the way of a few.

After a few minutes of this she grabs her lighter and flicks it open.

Damn.

As soon as there is a flame she is hurling fireballs at me, making them bigger the faster I get out of the way.

I swear one was like thisclose to hitting me in the head.

Most of them just narrowly miss me. Of course she does get a few hits in but my healing powers are awesome and like a boss the wounds just close up.

All of a sudden she is no longer in sight.

"Super speed does that." I hear to my left.

I quickly throw myself forwards onto the ground. I feel the wind fling it's self around me and I know that she's super speeding her way around me to suck the oxygen out.

If I were normal that would kill me. But I quickly throw up my force field and Ren falls over.

I jump up just as the air around me starts to turn black. I go chameleon and quickly escape the area shes 'Blacking out'.

"Oh Aki!" Ren calls in a creepy voice and I sneak my way right behind her. I jump on her and teleport her into her own 'black out' then get my ass out of there.

I suddenly see a glowing light from the black cloud and I know she's taken her lighter back out.

I throw myself to the ground only moments before a huge fire ball is blasted my way.

"Oh Aki!" Ren says in a sweet voice.

"You cheater!" I scream at her as another fire ball heads my way.

I hear a booming laugh coming from the black smoke.

Oh, shit just got real.

After our training lesson Ren and I sit and watch as Rae and Em spar a little. Most of the time Rae was helping Em with her shifter.

I lay back and close my eyes trying to soak in the suns rays, well until a shadow falls over my face.

I open my eyes to see Lana standing over me with a smirk of her own.

"Yes?" I ask her waiting for her to move out of the way of my sunlight.

"You and Serenity are done right?" She asks in that high pitched nasal voice of hers.

"Yea, Aki and I are done... so what?" Ren asks and I see Lana's smirk grow wider.

"Go clean the house. As soon as Raegan and Ember are done they're on dinner duty." Lana says and she just walks away.

I look at Lana's retreating figure and groan.
