Zarvin looked around. He knew it was time. He had waited for this moment to come for almost all his life. Even before he discovered what he had, he was never a quiet kid. Folks at his orphanage called him the biggest nuisance in their lives. Said he was as fast as the wind.
Zarvin smiled at the thought. They couldn’t have been more right.
The boy, who for some reason was so important to his bosses, seemed inconsequential to him. It was the struggle that excited him.
He knew their enemies were prepared well. And they’ll put up a tough fight. But he would win. Yes. In the end, he would win. There was no question about it.
Zarvin had no doubts about his powers. The part that delighted him the most was that he had never really revealed his true self to anyone, not even to the bosses. The world will have to wait.
When the right moment comes, Zarvin will unleash himself onto the world. Maybe tonight will be the right moment, or maybe not.
For now, it was imperative that he moved. He had to go to him. Maybe Zarvin was knowingly slowing himself down, so that he doesn’t miss this one opportunity he had got. But he couldn’t delay himself for too long.
After all, even he had people above him.
