Even in those moments of extreme uncertainty, one thing was certain to Zack. They were moving at a very fast speed. Perhaps a speed that was presently unattainable for the majority of mankind. And at this rate, Zack was sure they would reach where they were headed in not a very long time.

Zack’s assumptions proved to be true. After scaling a large area of completely unoccupied land, and further, a very dense cover of trees stretching for several miles, emerged the unexpected view of a gigantic man-made building, or rather a building complex.

The entire estate, was stretched over hundreds of acres of land. It consisted of several skyscraping buildings, each with its own set of soaring turrets. There were several individual giant steeples, or towers. It was almost like a modern day, and slightly less intimidating version of some ancient Roman castle.

When the ship landed on the massive grounds right in front of the central tower, it was almost dawn. As the three of them left the ship, Zack looked around and failed to spot a single soul on the grounds.

“Don’t worry. You’re not alone here. It’s just too early for them to come out of their beds.” Blake whispered to him.

The two then led Zack inside the tower. The inside, was as astonishing as the outside, and was in deep contrast. While the castle looked primeval from the outside, it was totally replete with all modern facilities and amenities from the inside. There were bright fluorescent lights at regular intervals on the ceiling in the narrow corridor in which Zack presently walked. After going through a series of these corridors, a couple of flights of stairs, and some more corridors, the three came to a large double door, with huge knockers.

No sooner had Blake knocked for the first time on the door that a voice emerged from inside the room.

“Come in.” It said.
