I walked through the corridors of the stone castle, entering the throne room as Lords and Ladies gave me curtsies and bows. The king was sitting on his throne triumphantly, looking out of his large window before realizing my presence.

"Your Majesty," I said quietly, giving him a bow before looking at him once more. "You have summoned me to court?" I asked and he smirked.

"Yes, yes I did Miss Felicity." He said, and shooed away his servants before standing from his throne and coming closer to me, stroking my hair.

"What's the task, Your Majesty?" I snapped and he looked at me curiously before moving away form me.

"I want you to assassinate a certain ranger: Jack." He said, and I looked away before meeting his gaze again.

"It is done, Majesty." I said, putting my hand on my sword and walking towards the door, but he cleared his throat.

"And Miss Felicity, bring me the body. And if you don't do the task, then well.." he clicked his tongue. "Your execution will be soon," he said and I quickened my pace out the door into the corridors. Once I found an empty hallway, I leaned against one of the walls and slumped down. How was I going to do this?

I woke up sweating as I sat up from the leaves Jack and I were sleeping on and looked around. I felt as though someone was watching me. Watching us. Coming out of my thoughts, Jack looked over at me sleepily and leaned on his elbow.

"What is it?" he asked and I looked down at my dagger before faking a smile towards him.

"Nothing, nothing at all.." I said and lay my head on his warm chest again and we fell asleep to the sound of our rhythmic breathing.
