Mrs Hubbard would have been so mad if she saw me sitting over here and eating ice cream in a cone. Her usual scowl and glaring eyes would have made me retrieve the idea, but I know she's not here.

Daniel hated her classes, but since our parents was always on spotlights. It was important for us to go for that classes to avoid any public embarrassment.

"You've never had ice cream in a cone? Like ever?"

"I know it's hard to believe."

"How old are you, may I ask?" He said. "I'm twenty eight."

"I'm twenty six." I answered.

"And you are telling me you've never had ice cream in a cone. That must be so miserable."

Our conversation was interrupted when our number was called to collect our ice cream.

He found it very amusing as he saw me struggling to eat the ice cream. I didn't want it to drip all over my arms.

He chuckled as he reached out to wipe the ice cream that was in the corner of my mouth with the napkin.

"Thank you." I said, sheepishly.

He shake his head and smile, "Glad we came to try something new."

"Mrs.Hubbard." I said as I lick the ice cream. "Would be so mad if she see me eating ice cream like this."

"She's not here and you're twenty six. You can do whatever you want." He sighed.

"I know, right." I said agreeing with him.

He smiled. "You're so adorable."

"Glad you find me adorable." I remarked sarcastically.

"I'm serious and I think everyone in this room would agree with me too."

"Trust me, no one likes me." I scrunched my nose. "My cousins and all dislike me."

"They are just jealous." He said.

"I don't know what they are jealous about." I said suddenly my enthusiasm with eating the ice cream in a cone was gone.

"Hey." He said. "Look at me." And I looked at him. He have a serious look on his face. "I see a smart, beautiful and intelligent woman in front of me."

I blushed at his compliment. "Yea..yea." I said brushing him off quickly.

"I hope one day you will realize how beautiful you are."

"Okay, enough about that." I said. "How long were you in my room?"

"Not long.. when I walked in at seven am, you were fast asleep. I was served breakfast though and I ate and I waited in the living room and then I was thinking of waking you up, but then I didn't have the heart to. You look so peaceful and beautiful, then I decided to read a book I found in your room and you woke up."

"Maybe next time you should wake me up instead of waiting and watching me sleep."

"I apologized if you found it creepy, but I swear I was there for like five minutes."He said. "I really didn't mean to intrude in your privacy."

I didn't say anything else. "What you have in mind?" I asked.

"I'm trying to figure you out." He said. "Yesterday you were willing to try something new and today you changed you mind."

"I couldn't sleep at night." I said, which was not a lie.

"What was keeping you awake?" He asked.
