People would call Daniel, dramatic. In honesty, I believe people can't be that dramatic or should be called dramatic. It may seem like a small problem to me, but it's a huge problem for them. I may handle a stress better or differently and the same stress, someone may feel overwhelmed and that's okay.
Daniel was eating his breakfast when we walked down.
"I once again apologize for my hospitality." Chase said as soon as we greeted Daniel.
"You should have woke me up." Daniel looked at me. "My neck is stiff from sleeping on the couch."
"I'm sorry." I said.
"How was the talk?" He asked. "Seeing you guys coming down together and she is wearing your clothes and also you guys seem a little much better than last night. I believe it went absolutely f*cking great." He clapped in delight.
"You can say that." Chase grinned. "We made some progress."
"So, What are you guys planning to do today? Tomorrow we have dinner plan with Mom." Daniel said. "You are invited as well." He looked at Chase.
"Perfect." He said. "I'll be there." And put his arm on my shoulder.
Daniel watched the movement and he looked at me and then at Chase.
"What is this? Some declaration or announcement?" Daniel asked.
"We are dating. Well, we will be once I ask her out, officially."
Daniel's eyes widened and he looked at me and I give him a smile.
"Wow." He said blinking his eyes. "David would be pleased to hear that." I was not sure if he was being sarcastic or was telling the truth.
"I will speak to him if he wants to." Chase said.
"Of course." Daniel said.
We settled down for breakfast. Daniel asked if he can have his car's key and I give him a sheepish smile.
"Did you know she cussed at me, yesterday?" Chase asked.
"She threw my wallet out of the window and locked me out of the car."
Both of their eyes widened and I give them both a sheepish smile.
"That's the most reaction we have got from you in a day." Daniel smirked.
"Do you want to walk home, now?" I asked with a serious look, but inside I was teasing him.
"It's too cold to." He smiled.
I rolled my eyes at him. "It's upstairs."
"I want my keys. I want to go home." Daniel said. "I have some work to finish."
"Fine." I said. "I'm going to get his key." I looked at Chase.
"You want me to come with you?"
"Oh, c'mon! She's just going to grab my key! You don't have to stick to her so much." Daniel scrunched his nose in disgust.
"You're just jealous that I won't be giving you any of my attention, anymore." Chase teases him.
And then they started bickering and I shake my head. I found his key in my coat and brought it downstairs. They were still bickering.
"You guys have good bromance." I teased them.
"We do not!" They both shouted at the same time.
"Relax." I said. "I'm kidding."
Daniel snatched the key from my hand. "I don't know how to react to your jokes. Anyway, call me if you need a ride home. You better take care of her." He looked at Chase with a serious look. "My eyes are on you."
"Don't worry, mate."
"Have fun, love birds. Not too much fun." He winked and waved us goodbye.
"What you want to do today?"
"I want to take Buttercup for a walk or out." I said. "She's doing very well."
"Our precious." He sighed.
"You didn't even come to see her." I scowled at him.
"Bad parenting, eh?"he asked.
"You could do much better." I said.
"I have plans for us. We can go to your place and take buttercup for a walk in the neighbourhood, bring her here. She can see her room and then we can have lunch here and then we can spend sometime doing something and then we can have dinner somewhere, that I had planned last night."
"I'm sorry about yesterday." I apologized again.
"I'm sorry for ignoring your calls and texts. It was a stupid thing to do. I was acting immature."
"We will work things out." I said.
"I really want to." He said.
We went back to my place after he showered and changed his clothing. He was playing with Buttercup while I took a shower to get ready for our day.
I wore a sweatshirt and jeans and came down. Buttercup was running around Chase who was sitting cross leg on the carpet in the living room. He was laughing, the head thrown back laugh. He didn't notice I have walked down and quietly walked behind him and kneeled down behind him and covered his eyes with my hands.
"Peek-a-boo." I whispered.
He laughed as I removed my hands from his eyes and wrapped my arms around his neck from behind.
"You are playful, today." He said.
"I know."
"I like the playful you." He said. "And all the other you."
"Good, otherwise you have to bear with me." I said kissing his cheeks and then came and sat beside him and took Buttercup in my arms.
"You want to stay here for a bit or you want to go for a walk?"
"Maybe a walk." I said. "I think she needs a little fresh air." And Buttercup just barked at that moment.
"She agrees with me." I said and tickled her.
"Come, let's go. You have to stay warm though and so does our baby." He said as he stood up and helped me stand and we both walked to the door. I just realized Chase took off his shoes on the front entrance where all the shoes are usually kept there and a closet full of shoes.
"Hey." I said. "Next time, put on these indoor shoes." I said opening a cupboard full of new house slipper.
"Didn't know your have this one."
"For the guests." I smiled. "I'm going to order a couple one. I always wanted to do those couple things. We can twin." My eyes widening at the plan.
"Whatever makes you happy." He said and kissed me chastely on the lip.
