Aster's P.O.V.:

This week has been hell.

Honestly, I'm just glad it ended - I mean, almost ended. I'm currently at S&L's annual auction, which for me is just another part of my work. And man, I've always loved my job and used to have fun at this kind of parties and events, but today I just want it to end, so I can go home and pretend things are not as frustrating as they are. And it is just even more frustrating that the auction hasn't even began yet, we're still at the reception.

After the dinner at my father's house, a week ago, I've decided I would do anything in my power to keep away from Harry, while at the same time, trying to discover what the fuck is he plotting. I've tried to sneak out on his computer when he wasn't at the office, but still haven't been able to find out what the heck his password is. I've also tried going through his desk drawer, but he keeps it locked, as well as the safe he had installed at the corner of my office.

Yep, not one of my proudest moments, but hey, I'm willing to do whatever it takes to find out what the fuck is going on around here.

I know I'm not crazy, obviously something is going on, and I want to be the one to find it all out and expose Harry for whatever it is that he is doing.

Do you think it's normal for a freaking Salesman work till late all the time, to show up at work with busted knuckles, suitcases filled with money and be always sneaking around when he has an incoming call? Or that is ordinary to have people who clearly are not part of S&L's staff coming and going all the time, never even following the office's rules, drinking and smoking around?

Of course it is not. Something else is going on, and I'm pretty sure it's illegal - otherwise, why would Harry keep such a secrecy around it anyway?

I just have no idea what is it. I've passed through a lot of possibilities, but honestly, there's no way a guy like Harry would be involved in something that is actually dangerous - like dealing drugs or maybe working with human traffic. The only thing that I can see a flashy guy like him doing in the underground world would be owning a brothel - I mean, sometimes he does dress like a pimp, doesn't he?

But if that was the case, why risk everything by using S&L's office as headquarters? I mean, I understand that Harry has his own alternative work schedule, but if he was even a little afraid of being busted, he would come to work in the mornings every day, so he could be out of the office by afternoon and do his shit during the nights. At least, that's what I would do, if I was the one running something illegal on the side.

Nothing about Harry makes sense, and this has been keeping me up at night.

I know I shouldn't be so concerned, what kind of control freak does it make me, to actually lose my sleep over something I simply can't have control over? Don't think I haven't asked myself that question almost every day, don't think I haven't tried to simply let this go.

Calvin said there's something more, other than my obvious concern about S&L business and how whatever it is that Harry is doing can affect the industry. He keeps saying that I can't let this go, simply because I've developed some kind of obsession with Harry, which I think is ridiculous, to say the least. I'm not obsessed with him, I'm just concerned, that's all. I want what is best to S&L, and hate the possibility of being fooled.

In the other hand, I don't know why I was incapable of telling Calvin about the kiss in the car the other morning, or about the night I've busted Harry fucking Stephanie. I also didn't find it in me to tell Calvin about going back to Pandemonium after two years of "abstinence", and even though I've been trying to convince myself I haven't told him any of those things simply because they aren't relevant, deep down I know I'm only hiding it because I don't want Calvin to come to the conclusion I know he will.
