Don't ask questions you don't wanna know

Learned my lesson way too long ago
To be talking to you, belladonna
Shoulda taken a break, not an oxford comma

Take what I want when I wanna

And I want ya

Bad, bad news

One of us is gonna lose

I'm the powder, you're the fuse

Just add some friction

Aster's P.O.V.:

Harry has his back turned to the door, so he doesn't see us immediately. Rickie puts me back on the ground, letting me go from his tight embrace and, strangely enough, I immediately miss it - I felt safer when he had his arms wrapped around me.

Instinctively, I take a step backwards, but my back his Rickie's large body, halting my movements. He rests one hand over my shoulder, kindly squeezing my flesh as if trying to give me some kind of silence support. My heart is thumping so loud against my rib cages it's almost surprising that I went to cardiac arrest yet, hands shaking so badly I have to cross my fingers to at least pretend I'm a list a little in control of my own emotions, even though they're all over the room.

"Hm, boss?" Rickie cleans his throat, clearly nervous. "I, hm.. Got her."

Harry snaps his head the moment the words leaves Rickie's mouth, probably not expecting me to be a her or to Rickie to sound so nervous suddenly. When his eyes meet mine, they go almost comically wide, but it lasts only one second before he is clenching his jaw so tight I bet it could easily cut through glass, his cheekbones getting sharp, eyes squinting, lips pressing to a thin line.

We glare at each other for what feels like ages, the surprised look on his eyes quickly turning to clear disappointment and anger as he takes all my figure - barefoot, ripped off pants, widened eyes, probably paled-faced and looking completely panicked for just being busted while lurking at the last scene I've ever expected to see Harry participating of.

"What are you doing here?" He hisses between his gritted teeth, eyes burning holes in my head.

"I, hm... I--" I babble, the bubble of fear only growing in my chest, blood icy in my veins. The energy coming from Harry is completely paralyzing, I've never felt such an intense stare before. "I've-- shit." My voice trails down, stupidly as I simply can't find the words to say.

I'm too afraid of admitting I've followed them here.

Suddenly, Harry scoffs, shaking his head and turning his face as he starts moving, walking around the room.
