Pick a card

Chapter 4

    The night at the lake was fun, the grilled food was nice, and it was fun swimming with Vanessa, Crystal almost thought she was gonna wake up in the morning at home, but so far it's been four days and she's still waking up in the quest room on the RV.

    Walking up to the front, she found him making pancakes next to a brewing pot of coffee, "I thought you said you hated coffee?"

    "I do, but you were up late practicing that magic brush so I'm making it for you, hope you don't mind vanilla flavored."

    "It ain't the worst coffee flavor to ever exist, so are those blue berry pancakes?"

    "Nope, I don't like blue berries, or strawberries, or any berry for the matter."

    "Seriously?"

    "Yep, now eat up, we have a long trip still."

    "Fine."

    As they ate, they heard the many others of the circus getting up, moving about, and a few squabbling at each other a tad bit.

    Finally it was time to go.  Once everyone was confirmed ready to go, they set off.  The drive was about the same, with the scenery going by.  Over the radio they heard people talking, a few arguments they got a good laugh out of.

    Around noon they came across a small town were they all went their separate ways for lunch.  After parking the RV, Yuvraj separated the Jeep, leaving a camping trailer in a parking lot, and they headed out on the road.

    "How about Wendy's?"

    "We've eaten a lot of fast food already Crystal, how about subway?"

    "No thanks, olive garden then?"

    "Meh, what about Olivera's?"

    "Hey."

    "Hey, it's just a jo...Flower shop."

    "What, flowers...Oh"

    Yuvraj spotted a flower shop, exactly the same as the one she painted, and in the window was the exact same employee. with the same black curly hair, and as she turned towards the window while sweeping, had the exact same eye color as Crystal's.

    "Do you think that she's one of my sisters?"

    "Very likely, though just to be sure, we should test it, here, I'll park the car and go in, do the tarot cards, if she gets a card like you black diamond, then we have a match."

    "And me?"

    "I'd stay in the jeep if I were you, just incase we have something go wrong."

    "Right."

    Walking into the little shop, the little bell dinged as he walked in.  the girl sweeping looked up and smiled, "Welcome to Aunt Daisies flower shop, may I be of assistance?"

    "No your good, I'm just getting flowers for a magic trick."

    "Magic trick, you perform?"

    "Yeah, I'm with the traveling circus passing through, I even do tarot cards."

    "Oh, can you do me?"

    "Sure, let me just shuffle these up a bit."

    Taking out his cards, Yuvraj started shuffling.  After about a minute he held them out to her, "Just three should do."

    Nodding, she reached out and took the cards.  Watching her, it was easy to spot a few similarities in between her and Crystal, but things were still different enough that she possibly could've just been a completely random person.
