Chapter 15

    Loading up the trailers, RV's, and the giant ship that somehow by some miracle actually managed to fit into the lake, everyone was in a hustle and bustle, making sure they got everything before they left.

    Yuvraj was already packed and had his RV on the ship already, parked in place and strapped down to keep from rolling away.  Crystal, Lotus and Alex were all carrying up there boxes onto the ship, Alex looking over it, amazed by the way it looked just like a pirate ship, just made of more modern ship materials.  Yuvraj was looking up the sails, made with magic runes to conjure their own wind, even though they had a paddle wheel in the back, as well as turbines on the bottom.

    Willow was coming up, carrying some box, though she had more than last time if Yuvraj remembered correctly.

    "Willow, since when did you have so many travel boxes?"

    "Oh, I actually have a few of Alex's, we worked out who would live in each RV, and since you Crystal and Lotus were already a bit accustomed to you RV, she asked if it would be Okay to bunk with Vanessa and me."

    "But doesn't she usually travel with the twins?"

    "They decided to stay home this time, and agreed to let us barrow their RV for the trip, and speaking of twins, where's your twin?"

    "Oh, well she decided to stay here, get to know the place, get to know my mom, she told me that she hasn't seen our birth mother since she was really little, and so I guess she kind of wanted to actually kind of see what having a mom to be there for you was like."

    "Are you saying she was envious of you?"

    "Maybe, but I can't blame her, with that tattoo on her and all the crazy things she's been through, kind hard to blame her."

    "Speaking of which, does she know what's become of your birth mother?"

    "You know, I didn't think to ask, well, maybe another time, here, let me help you with those."

    The dark room table had been replaced with a bigger one, and was laid out with way more food than previously, and sitting at the head of the table, the dark figure was trying to keep from eating before his quest arrived, but was kind of hard, and just as he was about to give in, the door opened and a figure covered in a cloak similar to the one Yvonne had walked in, and a lady that seemed very bugged followed in, with incredibly molten blue eyes that were easily seen even despite the fact that the room was barely lit.

    "Welcome, Doctor Tumbler it's been to long, and I see you've brought friend, and I would ask who but I'm taking a gander, your the mother of my previously loyal right hand man."

    Answering with a slight nod, took a seat next to the Doc., who sat opposite of their host.

     "This isn't for just pleasantry eating isn't it, what do you want?"

    "Of course, but let's eat anyways, I've been waiting, and my appetite is raring to go."

    With that, they started eating, and after a little bit of quiet eating, they finally started talking, but still continued to eat. "So, I came to the conclusion, that your family has a secret, one that makes you all immune to the taboo affects of the taboo magic you use."

    "Why yes, but how and where the taboo's go is a secret, but you have something else in mind don't you?"

    "Yes, you see, I've been dealing with a relative of yours."

    "Unlikely, we've all been alliance with you, except for Yvonne, who's been taken and concealed."

    "Oh is that what he told you, no, it would appear that she's been able to remove her tattoo."

    The Doc had been lifting a glass to his covered lips, and stopped hearing this, and the hood's motion showed he looked up to him, "Really?"

    "Yup, and I thought, how is this possible, then I thought, the person would need strong magic power, almost as strong as the one who was bearing the tattoo, and one thought came to mind, Yuvraj."

    The glass shattered in hand, and as he was obviously mad, the lady next to him started laughing, a cracker that had been in  hand  falling to the table.  the cloaked Doc turned to her, "And what is it that may be so funny?"

    "You've been trying to get him for years, and look where that got you."

    "You realize you son is the one that's making a fool of us, being an absolute disgrace to the family?"

    "That's my boy.  I'm so proud."

    "You'd feel my wrath if I could."

    "But you can't, and the tattoo you gave me is the best you've got."

    "Then shut up."

    "Not possible, the tattoo doesn't work that way."

    Watching from the other end of the table, he smiled at this dispute.  Clearly they did this often, but apparently the subject of her son was new, so something was obviously going to change the tides of things soon.  As much as he was enjoying this little squabble, he knew he should step in before things probably escalated.

    "Doctor, I have some good news for you."

    "Really?"

    "Well, I found out he's been showing up place to place in a traveling circus, so I have many of my people looking for him, and when we find him we plan on obtaining him, and when we do, he'll be all yours."

    "Good.  AND WHAT ARE YOU LAUGHING AT THIS TIME?!?!?!?!"

    She was busy trying to not choke on what she had been eating, and recovering looked up at him "You know how strong Yvonne is, and Yuvraj been out there getting who knows how strong, I don't care what you guys throw his way I'm sure you'll all fail miserably."

    "Says you, come on, we're leaving." Getting up, he lead her to the door, but turn before leaving completely,  "I have faith you can fully do this, now please do, and it might shut her up for once."

    The door closed behind them, and he watched them go with a smile.

    Everyone was accounted for, everything packed, things strapped down, and they all ready to take off.  Everyone was at the side of the boat, holding onto the railing, waving to the others who came to see them off.

    Standing in the steering room, Yuvraj had turned on the ship for Clyde, who was on deck making sure everyone held on.

    Activating the system, he watch through the window and the water around the ship started steaming, and as it rose it started to cluster around the ship, and as it got thicker, the boat started lifting off the water, lifted up by the cloud conjured under the boat.

    The people that were new to this were all freaking out, or take by surprise and were being amazed.  Then there was Lotus who was looking unsteady.  That's when he remembered that she wasn't goo with heights.
